Very nice example of a British IPA. Nice fruity hop flavours which do not overpower the malts. Would be a great session beer.

Cask @ Post Horn, St. Helier. Smooth and fresh beginning, intense and smooth. Fine hints of flowery hops. The mainpart is smooth, nice balanced malty with a nice floral bitterness. Not too sweet, but smooth fitting in! The aftertaste is fresh, easy to drink and still deep - nice sweetish maltiness with a subtle aroma of floral hops!
Much better than the bottled version!! 13/12/12/13

At GBBF. Creamy, thickly lacing, yellowish white, clearly hops-enhanced head adorning a beautifully deep and pure amber colour with calm fizz, a bit hazy. Aroma of toasted bread, roasted pinenuts, caramel, fried egg but not unpleasantly so, flowers, some dried orange peel. Clean and crisp taste of dried berries with a soft, smooth, toasted and nutty maltiness underneath as well as a hint of clean and even refreshing, pure honey sweetishness; finish is florally hoppy, not thoroughly bitter but pleasantly fragrant retronasally, while the aftertaste remains juicily malty. Pleasant and well-balanced English style IPA.

Cask at The Clachlan, London. Pours a clear, dark gold with a tight, creamy white head. Clean and fresh hops on the nose, subtle grapefruit. Flavor doesnt quite match up to the aroma but its still good. Pretty sweet, some creamy caramel, ripe citrus, faint grass. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, decent balance, some caramel, toast, easy earth and herbal hops. An alright beer on the whole.

Impressive and authentic looking and tasting IPA. Stunned to discover that its brewed in the Channel Islands ! Perfectly kept and served by the Blackfriar pub in Central London (cask)

Cask conditioned at The Royal Oak, Oxford. Amber with white head. This is quite a bitter and dry beer with an earthy, slightly muddy flavoured beer. Lasting on the palate, a hint of citrus perhaps but fairly basic mostly. Its ok.
