Cask at the Black Friday Cask Festival, Triangle Brewing, Durham. Another nice changeup amid all these dark, potent beer. Bright orange pour, with a silky head and medium carbonation. Very vibrant nose, sweet but with a moderate hoppy crispness that balanced things out. Lively, nicely fruity flavors, almost like blood orange. Very fulsome and fresh overall, a nice hoppy red is closer to how I’d describe this one.
Pours lightly hazy amber with a small quickly preceding white head. No lace. Yeasty nose with lots if orange and grapefruit. Hoppy throughout with juicy citrus. Clean finish with a long bitter fade. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 6, 2010
This poured a nice clear amber color with an off white head. Aroma was a decent amount of citrusy hops and not much else. Flavor was decent fruity hops, and very light malt character. Almost like light hop water, very thin. cheap (6009) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 20, 2009
At myrtle beach. Slightly hazy. Very light iced tea looking stuff. Mild hop or pine aroma. Taste is much more bitter than the clydes. Hoppy and almost approaches IPA in flavor. Linger is not as offensive as an IPA but it is mediciny in taste. IPA lovers, give this a try.
