12oz bottle. Poured a deeper golden color with a small sized off white head. Toasted caramel with some fruitiness.
Nice smooth Amber. I was about 5 beers deep when I tried it, but it went down nice, so I'm jiggy with it.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 3/28/2016. Pours slightly hazy deep orange/copper color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of caramel, brown sugar, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness/roast, grapefruit, orange zest, light pepper/pine, herbal, grass, and floral/toasted earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/bready malt and citrus/earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of big caramel, brown sugar, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness/roast, grapefruit, orange zest, light pepper, pine, herbal, grass, and floral/toasted earthiness. Moderate pine/grassy/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of caramel, brown sugar, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness/roast, grapefruit, orange zest, pepper, pine, and floral/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/bready malt and citrus/earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance; and minimal lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy/sticky, and slightly resinous balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.2%. Overall this is very good amber ale. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/bready malt and citrus/earthy hop flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. Just a bit too bitter and slightly astringent from the hops as you finish the glass; but very enjoyable for the style. chucklemation (1719) - Royal Oak, Michigan, USA - AUG 19, 2016

12 oz. bottle (from the MI mix 12 pack at Meijer- Big Rapids, MI), served in a shaker- poured a transparent copper brown color, light carbonation, thin white ring about the vessel with several frog eyes. Aroma of caramel that needed another minute on the stove, and a light malt smell. Hits the mouth with a light-medium body, malt had a good amount of sweetness added to it- but it wasn’t awash in it, middle has some refined sweetness- almost like brown sugar (but not quite, you know what I mean?), finish has a slight pop of acidity from hops. Decent, but nothing to take your clothes off about. BrownALEx (459) - Portland, Michigan, USA - AUG 6, 2014
Aroma: caramel and malt. Appearance: clear, burnt orange coloring. Taste: more caramel and malt. Palate: light bodied, tons o’ carbonation. Overall: not the best amber. Probably will not get again. Finhead (1770) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - JUN 1, 2014
Clear, amber-brown pour with a small, off-white head. The aroma is dominated by caramel malt and bread. It has a light body with slightly sticky texture, average carbonation, and a sweet taste. Brentv (674) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAY 18, 2014
From bottle. Pours a clear amber with a small white head. Aroma of caramel and malts. Taste has a mild sweetness, notable hops, balanced, with caramel and malts. rumproasts (5427) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - DEC 4, 2013
bottle. Most of this ended up on my countertop when the bottle exploded upon opening. I did take a sip of what was left in the bottle, and it was hard to taste much through the ridiculous over-carbonation. Your basic amber with caramel malt and no discernable hops.
