BeerandBlues2 (14464) - Escondido, California, USA - JUN 19, 2017
Draught at the brewery. Pours cloudy yellow with a medium, creamy white head, medium retention with spotty lacing. Aroma is medium banana esters, light spicy cloves and light grainy wheat malt. Drake (14360) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 15, 2017
Keg at the brewpub. Hazy lemon yellow, thin fizzy white head, poor retention. Aroma of heavy clove and banana. Taste is wheat, clove, banana, orange. Medium bodied, mild lingering spice. Traditional, decent. Could be crisper.

2.5
rosenbergh (12036) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 24, 2016
Draught at The Library, Houghton, MI. Slightly cloudy yellow color with a small white head. Yeast, toffee, wheat, citrus and mild rubber in the aroma. The flavor is wheat, citrus, sweetness, yeast and some malt. Watery. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

crossovert (14239) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 27, 2015
Draft. Very clearly a hefeweizen, hazed gold pouur, huge yeast notes, mostly banana and a hinto f bubblegum and spice, overload of yeast on this one.

badgerben (5388) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - JUN 23, 2011
Slightly cloudy yellow color with no head. Aroma of bubblegum and very ripe bananas. Wheaty taste. Strong banana. Fairly sweet malt.

EHopper (620) - Minnesota, USA - DEC 5, 2009
Part of a sampler at the Library in Houghton. I like Hefeweizens, but after a brief, nice banana, a medicinal flavor quickly built making me think ew.

3.5
Skyview (6115) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - JUL 3, 2009
On draught at the brewery/brewpub in downtown Houghton, Northern Michigan. Pours a semi-clear golden straw colored brew with a decent white head that has some nice retention and excellent lacing. Aroma of light banana esters, golden grain malt with wheat, a touch of butter and some clove. Taste is light to medium bodied, some light spice, flavors of banana esters, cloves and golden grain malt. Finish is light with a mild banana ester/yeast aftertaste that quickly disappears.

3.5
muzzlehatch (4977) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 15, 2006
5 oz draught sample at the brewpub, late July 2006. Properly opaque golden color with a lovely lasting head and thick coating in the glass....sweet spicy banana-bread aroma with emphasis on the banana, spiciness muted....melt-in-your mouth body goes quickly from very sweet and malty to moderately sour, wheaty, tart at the finish....quite solid for a brewpub hefe.

3.2
awaisanen (1310) - Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 8, 2006
On tap at the brewpub. Cloudy, sunset yellow colored pour with a thin white lacy head. Strong, phenolic aromas of clove yeasty spice, banana, shaved nutmeg, and cream of wheat cereal. Light, mildly spicy body seasoned with white pepper. Pleasantly refreshing finish of leather and more yeasty spice.

3.5
redlem (1306) - Ohio, USA - JUN 16, 2006
Hazy gold color with a small head ( which I think is an indication of the way it was pour rather than of the beer itself). Big clove and spice aroma and taste small bananna and yeast. Decent hefe that would of been better if it was warmer outside and the A/C was not on full blast inside, it is the UP for goodness sakes.
