Draft. Golden body. Frothy white head. Aroma of clove, spice, toasted grain, plastic. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, syrupy texture, lively carbonation. Nothing delicate about this beer. Overly spiced. Goopy, medicine-like mouthfeel. Yuck. ben4321 (6387) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - OCT 26, 2016
UPDATED: NOV 1, 2016 Draft at Cooper’s Chelsea. Hazy yellowish pour with a white head and sticky lacing. Spice and yeast aroma, some grains and grass. Taste is spice, a little funk, and a bit of tartness too. Tart, clean, and nuts-dry on the close, with a spicy tingly. j12601 (10868) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JUN 16, 2016
On tap at the brewery. Pours a lightly hazed gold with a thin white head. Spicy rye on the nose, a touch of citrus, spicy yeast. Medium bodied, big and smooth, warm yeast, a nice amount of phenols. Easy drinking into the finish, slow long bitterness. Smooth and tasty. trapped (3077) - New York, TURKEY - NOV 28, 2015

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is light rye... Really not much... Some funk in there as well. Taste is lightly botter rye with farmhouse funk. Pretty good saison. Good balance.
