From bottle. Grain, hay. Typical Export-taste: sweetness and slightly bitter, but flat. Standard beer, made for a quick drink. Neutral.

Golden colour with lasting head. Aroma and flavour are typical of a Pilsener. This one is fairly bitter.

Bottle. Golden color. Aroma: wet rags, fruit and malty. Taste: slight sweetness, malt, sad.

ciocanelu (2787) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - APR 6, 2016
Crystal clear straw color with white head. Aroma has the classic german lager notes: bread crust, grains and slight honey sweetness. Taste follows: bread crust and grains, really balanced, just slightly bitter on the finish. Body and carbonation are quite soft for the style. Not bad at all. Not very true to the style but I prefer it like it is.

hauxe (858) - Butzbach, Hesse, GERMANY - FEB 19, 2016
Pours gold into the bottle with a foamy and fleeting crown. Aroma is malty and rubbery with a light spice. Taste is lightly herbal bitter, with lots of pils malts, and little discernable hops. The finish is warming for a pils and here the bitterness steps up, but takes on a less fortunate grainy character. Palate is medium bodied and lightly oily. Decent but unmemorable.

Bamsen78 (5486) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - NOV 22, 2015
Bottle. Pours clear golden with stable white head. Clear aroma of yeast and malt, with mild hoppy notes and touches of cardboard. Sweetish, malty and estery taste, not bespeaking high quality ingredients, supplemented by mild, bitter hoppy notes. Bitterish and estery aftertaste with notes of wet paper. Drinkable but not particularly enjoyable.

Sarò stato sfortunato perchè l’ho trovata alla spina, ad una festa di paese, ma era decisamente imbevibile...

3.5
Leighton (21742) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 27, 2015
Bottle at home in London - picked up in Frankfurt. Pours perfectly clear gold, lightly effervescent, with a foamy white head. Nice biscuit and cereal character on the nose with lashes of lemon and maybe even some apple. Light to medium sweet flavor with sugary cereal, pale bread, faint straw, tangerine meringue, whipped cream. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sweet on the finish with lightly doughy white bread, biscuits, nips of corn, further cereal, pale sugar. Easygoing stuff.
