To me, the aroma was very light, very wheaty, with just a touch of sweet in the nose. Nice, hazy light golden in color with a fluffy, frothy, creamy white head. Was thinking it was going to be sour and hoppy, but it wasn’t. It was like drinking a cloud. Soft and easy to drink, glides right down your throat, leaving the smallest and very delightful, hint of sour behind. At the forefront was a bit of sweet to mingle with the wheatiness and the malt and the citrus. All in all, a new favorite. Not up there with Aventinus or Coop’s DNR, but way better than Icehouse and such.

Stable medium foam. Yellow amber colour. Wheat and honey aroma. Sweet banana, orange with notes of Weizen taste and smooth with lively carbonation and pretty long aftertaste. Steady beer.

500ml can from the shop, drunk at the beach. Pours thickly cloudy with a thick fast-settling frothy head, lacing while the head lasted and plenty of bead. Dirty orange in colour. Strong banana and cracked wheat aroma. Creamy in the mouth with sweetness overlying banana, cereal and malt flavours, even a slight fruitiness. Mild bitterness and a slightly sugary finish. Overall, a complex and flavoursome brew that is surprisingly good.

Decent Weizen. Banana aroma. Flavor, however, is untypically fruity, even a bit sour. It‘s less wheaty, less sweet compared to its Bavarian peers. Good, though, very drinkable.

Ein Weizen aus dem besten Bundesland der Welt :) Schönes fruchtiges und hefiges Aroma, säuerlich im Antrunk danach süß und fruchtig. Nichts zu meckern!

500 ml can. Pours cloudy amber color with creamy head. The aroma is calm, with light notes of bananas, tones of chewing gum, soft spicy phenolic notes. In taste berry sour, moderate malt sweetness with grain notes, also a little banana, against a background of a few spices. Bitterness is weak, acceptable, slightly with shades of cherry stones. In the aftertaste, these cherry pits appear more distinctly, the maltiness remains dominant, comes with a slightly caramel note.

25 Jul 2015 From Hipercor, in sale. In Paulaner glass. Playing Memoria. Its body seems bigger than in the typical hefeweizen. Really good in its style, with great aroma and flavor. Avg 4.3 17 May 2017. In Bavaria glass. New label. At lunch, after futsal match, with omelette. Not as great as I remembered, with a lighter and smoother body and less taste, although still pleasant
