Pours a dark black body with a one inch frothy and creamy brown head that had excellent retention. The nose is pretty subtle on the chai spice, which I think is a good thing. Much more roast, coffee, and lots of dark chocolate. The flavor is pretty well balanced between the stout and the gentle chai spicing. It's easily the best chai spiced beer that I've had. The richness of the stout really stands up to the spice. Great roast and dark cocoa on the finish. Very well hidden alcohol. Full bodied with a nice creamy texture and slight carbonation. A rather good beer. 4/8/8/4/16

Pours an opaque black from the bomber with fluffy tan head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of big chai spice, hints of chocolate and booze underneath. Taste follows, with a hint of floral and anise on the back end, punch in the face spice. Thick and viscous, booze is there, solid.
