Bottle from TAR, thanks Jeff! Poured a clear yellow color with a thick, dense, creamy white head that slowly faded to a thick layer and left some spotty lacing. Lightly sweet, honey-touched cereal, dough, light cut hay, faint spice, moderate grassy hoppiness, and a soft fruitiness (orange, dried apricots, faint lemon). Crisp, lightly bitter entry with some light honey sweetness and a soft doughiness that leads into a cereal graininess with some slight husk followed by a moderately bitter, softly spicy grassy hoppiness that grows as it lingers into the finish with some soft undertones of dried apricots. Creamy mouth feel offset by the hoppy dryness, very inviting and drinkable. Slightly husky and not quite as clean as I would prefer, but still enjoyable.

Bottle purchased at the brewery yesterday (had on draft at the keller as well). Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear light yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly hoppy (herbs), with light notes of soap and DMS. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter, slightly husky, slightly unclean. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Rather shocking difference from the Lagerbier. Both at the Keller and here in my apartment I just can’t find much enjoyment in the pils. Even the Kellerbier was underwhelming, as was the Rittmayer house-brew. Seems like a rather rushed batch, rough and raw and without much enticing character.

UPDATED: DEC 21, 2013 10 day old bottle from the brewer. filtered version of the kellerbier. sparkling clear gold body with a rocky white head. spice and dried fruit scented German hops with semi-sweet pilsner malt honey / hay / cereal sugars. crisp and smacking, frothy carbonation, enjoyable soft malt texture, very creamy and lush. dried grasses and fruits abound, in a stunningly clean, crisp and refreshing presentation. delicious.

Bottled. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, and so is the flavor, leading to a lightly bitter finish. The mouthfeel is a bit sticky. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle: Golden, big and stable white head; grainy, abit buttery nose with a good dash of grassy hops; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, malty base; lingering hoppy and sweet-malty finish. A pleasant Pilsener.......

[ Trade with Maria ]. Clear medium yellow orange color with a large, frothy, good lancing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, toffee, butter. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. (100608)

Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUN 16, 2008
Golden with a nice head. The aroma has notes of straw, malt and flower. The flavour is refreshing with notes of straw, light flower/fruit and a nice, clean bitterness. It’s very quenching and nice.

50 cL bottle, trade with Maria. Pours clear and golden yellow with a lacing white head. Mild bitter and corn aroma. Light cornish flavour with light dryness and mild bitterness. Medium dry cornish finish with a slowly building finish.

MoritzF (9959) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - SEP 26, 2007
(bottle) Almost clear, golden colour with a big foamy white and moderately persistent head. Sweet grainy, cereal-like aroma with a good dose of herbal hops. Sweet, minimal bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Soft grainy base, slightly strawy with a sweet-bitter finish with light herbal and slightly grassy hops. A soft and a bit sweet but also uncomplicated Pilsener.
