33 cl bottle @ Berggasthaus Sücka, Triesenberg. BBE 11/2017.
Pours clear dark red-brown color with a large beige head. Aroma is malty with evident coffee notes, ashy tones, faint licorice. Flavor is best and dry malty, a bit too strong carbonation, feels very thin, some caramel and coffee bitterness on the finish. Not as good as I expected.

33 cl bottle @ Berggasthäus Sücka. BBE 11/2017. Aroma is musty with hayish tones, some mild roastiness and hints of licorice. Flavour has licorice, some tobacco and cold coffee. A bit too foamy palate and feels watery. Not that good.

Coffee is much more predominant in the smell rather than taste. Thin body (quite watery). Get a weird smell occasionally - like vegemite or off meat.

I bought this bottle from the coop city in Luzern, in the old city center. In my opinion, it is a decent stout, close to the fuller porter, it is an easy stout to drink. The taste is with roasted malt, hop, for a coffee stout, the notes of coffee are discreet for a "coffee stout", in fact the finish is dry and decent bitterness. The body is a nice black color, thin brown and white foam.

Podejrzewam, że nieprędko przyjdzie mi ponownie zmierzyć się z piwem z Lichtensteinu. Ten oto egzemplarz ma praktycznie czarną barwę i niewielką, beżową pianę. W aromacie mocne akcenty kawowe i czekoladowe. W smaku również te dwie nuty dominują. Całokształt nieco burzy lekka metaliczność, ale nie jest to wielki problem. Z czasem prawie tego nie czuć... Mamy też przyjemną paloność i niezłą goryczkę. Niskie wysycenie i przyznam, że to całkiem przyzwoity stout!
