Bottle: (from the cabinet of curiosities of Shrubber85) Slightly hazy golden/yellow with a wisp of head. Grain, slight skunk, corn aroma. Taste is grain malt, grass. Not awful for an aged and cellared pale lager....better than expected.

330 ml bottle shared by shrubber85. Pours a cloudy golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet, grainy, corn, malt, grass, straw, pretty typical pale lager blah.

Bottle shared. Pale yellow with no head. The aroma has pretty low character. Moderate sweetness and honeydew and gasoline. Sweet and pretty refreshing. Not bad.

330 ml bottle shared by shrubber85- thanks again, Roger! Clear bottle. Pours a flat, cloudy yellow gold with no head, albeit some traces of a tiny ring of bubbles. Notes of straw, corn, sweet and bready and crackery malts, grass, tea, lemon, and sugar. Light-bodied, with low carbonation and a corny, sweet mouthfeel. Not bad, but certainly nothing special. Drinks easy enough for the style and has more going on than other higher-ABV pale lagers have.

@ phaleslus cinci tasting. 33cl clear bottle, another older one from shrubber I think. Mildly hazy golden orange color. Up front, def some of that burnt popcorn again. Lighter body. Kind of crisp, light carbonation. Mild slick. Pretty much no head. Moderate bitter taste, light to moderate sweet. Bit of bite on the finish. Eh, interesting to try. Not much to it though.

330ml bottle. Pale straw, white head. Clean, malty aroma, faintly hoppy, hints of citrus. Dry, very light bodied, low bitterness, lively CO2. Thin, malty and citrusy taste, the faintest of hops. Clean and refreshing, though. (2011-12-26)

Bottle. Clear yellow, small white head. Aroma of black pepper and straw. Taste is slightly sour pepper. Very light body. Reminds me of Miller Lite.

Koelschtrinker (18731) - Kln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 17, 2011

Golden color, small white head. Bready malty aroma, cat piss hoppyness. Fizzy carbonation. Light to medium bodied. Maize sweetness, some cardboard, light bitterness. Bulk lager from Liechtenstein?

Bottled. Golden colour, mediumsized foamy white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is grains, mild sweet maltyness as well as some earthyness. Flavour is grainy, grassy, bready malty as well as quite earthy. Quite watery palate.
