Zlotta (3812) - Hagen / Düsseldorf, GERMANY - OCT 2, 2017
0.33 l bottle from 'Het Biermoment', best before June 2020. Clear, very dark red to black with a medium large, slightly creamy, stable, beige head. Sweetish, malty, moderately roasty and a bit fruity aroma of dark chocolate, licorice, dark fruits and some coffee. Quite sweet, malty, fairly roasty and minimally fruity taste of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice and traces of dark fruits, followed by a long, rather roasty-bitter, earthy-dry finish. Medium to full body, slightly creamy and rather effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very tasty, what a surprise! Just too much carbonation and effervescence, otherwise it would be really good.

GSAP (757) - NETHERLANDS - MAR 27, 2016
Heerlijke vol en delicaat bier met koffie, chocolade en gedroogd donker fruit. Drinkt heerlijk weg, zijdezacht. Weinig aantekeningen, wel voor herhaling waard.

blackisle (2812) - Amsterdam IJburg, NETHERLANDS - JAN 3, 2016
Bottle 33cl. Clear deep dark brown with a red hue, large frothy tan head, diminishing slowly, good lacing; aroma is roasted malts, coffee, cocoa, peat notes; taste is medium sweet and bitter, roasty, malty, chocolate; medium body, oily to creamy texture, soft carbonation; develops more bitterness in aftertaste, bittersweet chocolate and spicy notes; overall a nice IRS, very drinkable.

bonkiedeaap (815) - Leerdam, NETHERLANDS - JAN 1, 2016
Bottle from a liquor store in Leerdam. The beer is black colored and pours a large cream colored head, with livingly CO2. The aroma is fruity with tones of caramel and dark fruits, and some bitterness from cacao and coffee. The taste is medium bodied and light sweet with some fruity notes, which changes into a nice bitterness with notes of dark chocolate and cacao. The finish is bitter and with tones of strong coffee.

Unclear black colored beer with a good lasting beige head. Tastes nice malty, creamy, bitter hops, coffee and chocolate. Bittersweet aftertaste, tasty.

Bottle. Pours a cola dark brown beer with a big off white head on top. Aroma is full on malt and roast, sugary and not much else. Flavour is nice, full and bittersweet. Loads of sweet sugary notes combined with bitter roasty touches and a sweet malty finish. Nicely carbonated and long sweet finish. Decent stuff.

Opaque black - brown beer, good pale tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry. Modest fine carbonation. Mellow dark malts but a little tangy, Traces of cream and mild coffee. Whisper of molasses. Light dry finish. Not bad.
