COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This classy beer represents the perfect marriage between the fresh accents and slightly acidic flavour of the black cherries. Liefmans Kriek-Brut is a mixed fermentation beer, with every hectolitre containing up to 13 kilos of fruit! Liefmans Kriek-Brut is a perfect blend of Oud Bruin and Goudenband from different vintages, and can consist of between 15 and 20 different batches of beers. The beer is matured for 18 months, bringing out the very best of its intense flavour. Liefmans Kriek-Brut is a deep reddish-brown colour, with a pale head and wood and almond notes. On the palette, you can clearly taste the slightly sweet, yet at the same time gently bitter fruit flavours. This is a beer that just oozes class

Strong sweet cherries & cranberries aroma with hay and barnyard undertones. Deep ruby colour with small beige head. Sweet cherries in first place on than tartness and wood notes appear, bit of vanilla, ends up with cloying sweetness and cherry finish. Mouthfeel tart at first, ends up overly sweet. Overally - dissapointment, smells nice- easy on the wild side (but big cherry on the nose), taste is not complex (so far im ok), but cloying sweetness kills all the pleasure that could come from this beer, sadly

Bottle at home. Aroma of candied cherries and a bit of oak. Light bodied. Light vinegar taste, but way less than Duchesse, lots of raspberry, big fruit roll-up aftertaste, a bit cloying as well. Good, enjoyable, but not great.

Kolor wi?niowy, z pi?knymi rubinowymi refleksami, klarowny. R?owa piana, niezbyt wysoka, ?rednio trwa?a, ktra nieznacznie zdobi szk?o Aromat intensywnie wi?niowy, delikatnie waniliowy, z nieco winnym, wytrawnym akcentem. Smak wi?niowy, z nutami wanilii i ciemnych winogron, lekko kwa?ny. Na finiszu delikatne akcenty kwa?nych jab?ek z odrobin? drewna. Goryczka sucha pestkowa, delikatna, wysycenie ?rednie.

330ml bottle from M&S. Small pink head, nice lacing. Clear dark reddish brown body. Nose is sour cherries, acidic notes. Flavour is more sour cherry, bready yeast, really sweet through the middle before a tart finish. Light carbonation, soft creamy mouthfeel. Really good.

Strong aroma of dried cherry and sweet cranberry. Wheat Pours a brownish red with lasting small off white head Strong sweet dried cherry flavor with bready malt. Medium bodied with medium co2, lingering cherry finish Enjoyable beer just overpowered by cherry. Not many nuances for me to make it interesting enough to buy again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JUL 10, 2016 33cl bottle, served in snifter glass. Poured a deep dark burgundy red with an one finger off white head. Delicious aromas of black cherries, tart, vanilla, caramel. Taste: Oh that is so fingerlickin good...initially there is sweetness from the cherries, vanilla, caramel, and then the tart kicks in with all the acidic, dry bitterness. Mouthfeel is very dry. Light to Medium body with a long bitter tart finish. What a delicious and refreshing kriek this is! Top class!

Amber yellow pour. Aromas of cherry. Oxidation in the background. A bit cardboardy. Not bad though.
