Blah! Aroma was overly sweet ... almost artificial. A foul brownish color w/ no head. Tasted like bad fruit water w/ an unpleasant oily finish. Not good. Not good at all. austinpowers (2828) - San Francisco, California, USA - SEP 4, 2002
A really great beer from Liefmans! Tastes a lot like Belle-Vue Framboise, but a touch more tart. Dry. neilrichards (191) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 4, 2002
excellent fruit beer.............................................. softale (188) - Michigan, USA - AUG 28, 2002
Burgundy color. Even with a fairly aggresive pour little head formed. Nose is raspberry and mustiness - but it’s a good kind of mustiness. Taste is sweet with sour kick and a bit of a dry finish. Not quite as good as Lindeman’s, IMO. Hildigöltur (5104) - København, DENMARK - AUG 20, 2002
The slight sourness makes this real good. This is not as sweet and sticky as most other frambozenbier and kriek. I love raspberry and I like this even though it is a girlish beer.

UPDATED: OCT 10, 2004 Pretty much sediment. Nice natural raspberrie-taste. Nice beer both sour, and sweet. OlJuntan64 (1265) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JUL 20, 2002
Though I’d take something nice for the big 300. Faintly hazy pink red with large lasting light beige head. Natural ripe raspberry aroma and not much else. My favorite kind of medium strong sour unripened raspberry and some faint yeasty flavours. Slightly sweeter middle and sour dry refreshing finish. Nice one Liefmans! Much like the Lindemanns, but has a more sour taste......................... MartinT (9932) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 6, 2002
A thick and malty raspberry champagne…Very sweet sorbet…A poolside treat… Aurelius (5371) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JUN 18, 2002
Incredible aroma of dusty raspberries. Brownish pink-purple with a single-bubble layer of fizz for a head. Earthy, acidic flavor that has a slight astringent quality, akin to powder candies (sweettarts, smarties). Notes of quinones (bitters) on the lips and the side of the tongue. Different.
