UPDATED: NOV 18, 2017 Dufter næsten som glögg: kanel, rødvin, nelliker. Smager let surt og sødt, men også krydret. Lever op til navnet og overrasker positivt.

Colore rosso scuro, schiuma praticamente assente. Sentori di ciliegia predominanti. All'assaggio amarena, frutti di bosco, amaretto, cannella. Gusto agrodolce. Una birra particolare dove la ciliegia domina incontrastata ed anche a temperatura ambiente risulta facilmente bevibile.

August 2017 - Tasting at Leighton's. Bottle, wrapped in green paper, as 'Liefmans Glühkriek'. Dark reddy brown, still, foamy off-white or browny head leaves dotted lacing. Aroma is big cherry, cloves, medicinal, Cherry Halls sweets, crazy intense medicinal cherry. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is Halls Cherry sweets, cherry and clove, very sweet. Fun stuff for a small pour. Intense all the way through. I much preferred it at room temp compared to when I heated it as recommended by the brewer. (8-4-7-4-15=3.8)

From old tasting notes. Deep burgundy red color. No head. Fruity, spicy nose. Delicious tart cherry flavor with wonderful soft, spicy undertones. Truly unique and very drinkable. More like a cherry pop than a beer.
