From tap at Kulminator as Liefmans Naturkriek - apparently the last available keg. Pours murky orange with a diminished pink head. Dry cherry acidic aroma. Light phenolic note. Flavour holds a solid phenolic note to an initial cherry fruity flavour. Almost rodenbach like. Lasting acetone-ish phenolic finish. Fantastic. joergen (28164) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 1, 2007

Murky ruby brown colour. Aroma is superbly sour cherries with some hints of nuts. Flavour is dry cherries, nuts and some wooden hints. A very sour and dry thing, but still really refreshing. One of the most mouthdrying beers I have ever had. Marvellous thing!

05/2007... Clowdy red colour ... sharp cherry nose ... cherry vinegar ... lots fo depth ... very fruity ... hints of pickled onion ... Am i a philistien for thinking this would be a good salad dressing....
On tap at Erasmus 08/2009... deep red ... sharp sour nose with a lot of cherry ... sharp lemon sour in flavour ... light cherry ... and again pickled onions.... really not me.
Dezent saurer Antrunk, zum Mittelteil deutlich stärker. Ein leichtes Fruchtaroma ist hier erkenbar und wird im Nachgeschmack schwächer, bleibt aber auf angenehmem Level. Weiter sauer, sehr lecker!

UPDATED: SEP 27, 2006 On draught at The Kulminator, Antwerp during LCRBM2 This is just about my favourite drink to have at the end of a session. The sour cherry, the good malt (more so than in the bottle version), just the harmony of the fruit and sourness and alcohol and flavour. Had to finish this to get the Struise Christmas beer on. Draught at Kulminator. Sourish aroma, has a bit of winegum cherry. Seemingly clear deep red colour. Semi-stable, disappearing pink/grey head. Quite sour flavour with some cherry to it. Finishes with a clean citric/lemony cherry aftertaste. bhensonb (15235) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 17, 2009
Tap at Erasmus. Pours a deep cherry red with small bubbles. Aroma of fairly sour cherries - Schaerbeekse. Medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is sour. Also cherry. Smooth. Acidic mellowing to tart. It’s woody. It’s the best cooking cherry. Lubiere (13915) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 18, 2005
Tomato juice to red blood in colour, with no head. Wonderful sour cherries in aroma, like a purée. In mouth, delihtful sour cherries with light acidic notes, very deep smooth bodied, beautiful ale. About 3 yrs old, on tap at Erasmus, kindly offered by the owner. Merci Monsieur!
