Aroma and taste rather sweet, only mildly sour: tasty caramel malts, some dark fruits, a trace of vanilla. A bit thin but nice: well-balanced and easy-drinking.

Bottle from Beergium. Fruity and tart smell with dried fruit. Similar taste, both tart and sweet. Pretty nice but not the best flemish red Ive had.

0.25 l bottle from Prik & Tik Baelus, best before June 2017. Clear, deep brownish red with a thin, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish, slightly sourish, a bit fruity aroma of caramel, vinegar, red grapes and wood. Sweetish-sourish, slightly fruity taste of caramel, red grapes, cherries, wood and some vinegar, followed by a short, slightly woody-tart, a bit vinous finish. Medium body, slightly astringent and a bit effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Decent.

mathieuc (3905) - Qubec, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 10, 2016
Pours a moderately dark brown with a medium creamy head that leaves nice lacing. Nose is of grapes, dark fruits and slight dark belgian sugars. Taste is tart to a light to medium level and fairly dry. More grapes. Not bad but not exactly convincng. Body is light to medium and carbonation moderate. Alright but certainly not the best oud bruin out there.

KoNrRiI (1448) - rhus, DENMARK - SEP 10, 2016

0.33 bottle.
A clear, dark crimson color with a small, off-white head of good retention. A sour, vinous aroma of wood and fruits.Taste is sweet, sour, woody, acidic. A medium body, a slick texture, and a soft carbonation. Finish is medium long and exactly the same as the rest of the beer. Overall the brew is not bad if uneventful.
