blackisle (2816) - Amsterdam IJburg, NETHERLANDS - FEB 4, 2016
Bottle 25cl. Clear chestnut brown, two finger frothy beige head, half-way lasting, good lacing; aroma is vinegar, caramel, sour cherries, bit wood; taste medium sweet and sour, fruity, some vinegar, with long duration, mild sourish finish; medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation; pleasant and drinkable Sour/Brown Ale.

3.8
rand (1830) - SWITZERLAND - DEC 10, 2015
Bottle 25 cl from Bier-Bienne (CH). Reddish brown with a nice clear beige foam. Acidic nose, vinous, sugar and fermented fruits. The taste is similar, acidic, lactic, with a malted sweetness. Acidity replaces bitterness. Light beer, digestible, finale soft and fluid, without complications. A old style which, I hope, will persist.
