Bottle. Opaque brown pour with persistent off white head. Aroma of brown sugar, caramel and roasted grain, very light acetic aromas. Taste is sweet, fruity, mostly brown sugar flavors with a tart acidic finish. Palate is med bodied with light-medium carbonation. Okay.

On tap. Brown with light brown head. Aroma has tons of vinegar. Taste has vinegar, glue, acid and raisins. Not my kind of beer, unfortunately.

250 ml bottle. L2045. BB 08/2015. From belgianbeerfactory.com.
Dark reddish brown colour with a tiny off-white head. The aroma is sweet dark fruits, malt and mild sugary sweetness. The flavour is sourness, dark fruits, mild sweetness and malt. A bit thin. Otherwise quite nice.

Small creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is weird sour-ish, red berries, chlorine, cherry candy. Taste is chlorine, butterscotch, cherry candy, grass. Some acidity. The bad tap lines @ Henrik strikes again!!

Bottle from somewhere I cant remember. Pours tiny hazy reddish brown with a rather big frothy and creamy offwhite head that leaves some lacing and trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is slightly sour and malty with sweet dark bread, cereal, lemon juice, grape juice, moist wood, hay, barnyard, low quality red wine, dry soil, lemon zest and hints of oatmeal. Taste is sour and malty with dark bread, toasted cereal, red wine vinegar, hay, moist wood, grape juice, unflavoured yoghurt, oatmeal and hints of acetone and rotten lemons. Mouthfeel is sharp, dry, slightly tart and light to medium bodied. Finish is sour with bread, red wine vinegar, lime juice, hay, dry soil, moist wood, grape juice, and cereal. Pretty so-so...

25 cl. bottle @ home. .Procured from Willems. BBF 03/2015. Dark brown, light Bordeaux red with basically no head. Nose has light vinegar, sour red malts, touch dark cherries, light oak, touch tart & med. quality chocolate, man I had very low expectations about this one but this is actually sour, nice. Taste is light chocolate, fain roast & coffee grounds, ligt vinegar, old touch tart cherry chocolates, lightly tart, malts, chocolate, Touch oily, bit fizzy, slight lighter body. Expected nothing but this is not bad, sweet & sour balance as the style should have traditionally. Not overly impressive but quite enjoyable never the less.

6/3/7/4/14 25 cl bottle from ABS Drinks. Tangy aroma, chocolate, cherries, green apple, a bit of vinegar. Relatively tame. Dark brown with orange tints and a high, fine head. Nicely tangy flavor, chocolate, yogurt, orange, lactic acid, a touch of vinegar. Relatively sweet and malty for the style, but not in a cheap way. Not all that exciting, but nice drinking. Some roasted chocolate and tangy sourness in the finish. Light, smooth body, soft carbonation.
