Liefmans is a unique, refreshing blend of beers, ripened on real cherries in our cellars, blended with natural fruitjuices of strawberry, raspberry, cherry, billberry and elderberry. The result is a slightly Champenoise pearling, fruity, and agreably sweet drink, sparkling and refreshing.

UPDATED: JAN 22, 2013 Bomber poured into small snifter glass. Clear ruby color with the thinnest of white heads. Tart cherry aroma with other tart fruits. Strong cherry flavor dominates, very sweet and carbonated. Thin body. Alright, not really my thing.

UPDATED: NOV 23, 2017 Clear ruby. Sweet cherries nose. Sweet taste. Plain cherry flavour, low to none bitter almond notes. Not good.

tiny bottle. Purple red with small head. Really nice looking. Sweet with loads of berry. Very light lingering tartness, but could be dialed up significantly. What's here is very nice and pleasant, but it's lacking any complexity at all.

This is serious fruit beer, all you taste is fruit, the berries are totally overpowering and you lose all the hops and malt, its quite a refreshing sour sweet berry drink if you into that sort of thing, I'm not.

Bottle at Squirrel, Farnborough. To cut a short story short I quite like a fizzy fruit juice, like Schloor. This is alcoholic Schloor. More alcopop than beer. But highly drinkable nonetheless.

Somehow, Liefmans manage to create very well balanced compositions including their fruit beer. Although I usually would not recommend breweries who have excellent beer to try some fruity or other weird experiments, this one is indeed good.

Pours a deep cranberry red with a thin white ring. Sweet fruity aroma. Taste is like Kool-Aid on steroids. Great variety of fruit flavors mixed together. Similar taste to that of a Sangria but lighter. Very crisp and refreshing and not overly sweet. Very enjoyable.

Bottle at the Village. Deep, clear red. Heavily sweet cherry, vanilla, almond. Artificial candy. Pretty refreshing.

27/08/2017 @home - bottle from Prik en Tik, Edelare. Served on the rocks. Clear red colour, white head with pink hue. Nose and taste are strawberry and raspberry. Too sweet.
