Liefmans is a unique, refreshing blend of beers, ripened on real cherries in our cellars, blended with natural fruitjuices of strawberry, raspberry, cherry, billberry and elderberry. The result is a slightly Champenoise pearling, fruity, and agreably sweet drink, sparkling and refreshing.

Clear cherry red beer. Light frothy pink head. Cherry fruit nose. Slightly dry palate. Fruit punch with a light touch of sourness. Cherry leads but there is strawberry and raspberry too. Dry finish with a bit of carbonated zing. Not bad, a little more sourness would have been better but this is a serviceable fruit beer.

Papsoe (25056) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 9, 2009
Bottle 25 cl. Pous a clear red with a small, lacing pinkish head. Extreme berry-like aroma. Thin body, all fruit to an extreme degree, artificial sweetness. A little tart and dry in the finish. A fruit beer brought to an extreme. 091109
