A good beer. I think all the protein was mashed out...there is very little head retention. A bit over the top with caramel malt. Nice hop flavors. Perhaps my first beer from Lift Bridge that I said, "Eh".

Sampled from the tap at Red Cow North Loop. Pours a clear gold with a near white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has a good amount of grain supported by light fruits, Belgian yeast and a bit of straw. Flavor has a bit more of that light fruit and Belgian yeast combination with a sweet grain and straw backbone. ljthiessen (1397) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - DEC 31, 2015
Bottle. Clear amber pour with a thin white head. Aroma is caramel and biscuit. Taste is light, some caramel and biscuit, touch of banana. Not bad, but unremarkable. islay (2958) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JAN 31, 2015
3.5 oz. pour, on tap at the brewery’s taproom in Stillwater, Minnesota. Labeled as "Biscotti," not "Belgian Biscotti." Consumed on 1-29-15. Tangy, malty aroma features a peach scent. Not strong aromatics. Pours a hazy, light brass with a small amount of beige head. Solid, sweet, malty taste. Spicy. Dessert-like yet still somewhat savory. Interesting. Pretty tasty. Dry aftertaste. Medium body. Lively and crisp in the palate. Overall, this is a solid winter beer, subtle yet intriguing. OscarFalls (52) - excelsior, Minnesota, USA - MAY 11, 2014
I like the fruity flavor. It's pretty after you've put in some docks and ate some fiddlehead ferns.

Great Belgian ale. Thanks malster85 for this one. Pours a reddish caramel color. Aromas are nice and malty. Sweet caramel aromas with warm spices. Beautiful anise aromas. Flavors are bready and caramel. Warm spices and anise. Good stuff. XmnwildX12 (2079) - Farmington, Minnesota, USA - APR 14, 2013
Poured from a bottle, orangish color, clear with no head. Aroma is yeast and bananas. Taste is similar, bit of a clove spice finish, thin body.

Great beer, like it right out of the tap at the brewery, plus I got two bottles from the brewery
