COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This pale golder, Belgian-influenced ale is for everyone: Farm Girl, wannabe Farm Girl. In the Belgian Farmhouse tradition, this brew has a dry malt finish and a spicyness that only Belgian yeasts can create. Smooth and well rounded... this one can please anyone in any situation, whether you are on the water, in the sun, or hiding from winter’s chill.

Light amber color with little head. The aroma has orange and wheat, with some doughy yeast. The taste is balanced, but not very assertive. The palate is invigorating, and fairly light. Overall, it’s a decent beer.

FROM NOTES: July 11, ’12 Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a pint glass. A: Very strong grass, straw notes with hints of apples and pears with a few lemon citrus notes. A: Pours straw yellow with a one-finger white head leaving small wisps of lacing down the glass. T: Initially a substantial chewy wheat slowly fading into a mix of subdued fruits; similar to the nose. The finish is lasting. P: Light body and flavor with moderate carbonation. O: If you like the saison flavor, let this one warm up to room temp first. At best, a very average saison.

On tap. Hazy golden yellow with a thin white cap. Aroma is Belgian yeast, citrus and some funk. Medium to medium-high sweet with a clean finish. Body is light and refreshing with good carbo. Decent Saison.

Not much in the pour - flat, clear and thinly carbonated. Aroma of goat cheese. Flavor is more full than appearance and nose would lead to believe. There is almost a baked quality to it. Not tart and easy on the palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy light gold with thin head disappearing, but carbonated enough for good mouthfeel and laces glass. Citrus aroma. Slight orange, banana phenolic spice flavor from yeast. Just a touch sweet. Good, and I like this better now that I’ve rated it.

Nice beer. Slight Orange. This saison is for everyone likes the label says. Minnesota beer that I’m enjoying in this 94 degree heat.
