COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This lightly carbonated, moderately sweet, medium-bodied Belgian-style Ale is smooth and well-rounded with a hint of spiciness only Belgian yeasts can create. Farm Girl Saison was lovingly created for the wife of a co-founder, inspired by the farm she grew up on.

Draft. Clear apple juice body with small white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, white pepper, yeasty spicy, some honey. Taste is moderately sweet, honey, yeast spiciness, some pepper. Medium body, light stickiness. A bit sweeter than I’d want.

Seriously why the hype? It is not tang, too clear, not enough flavor for a saison.

bu11zeye (13215) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - AUG 21, 2010
(12oz bottle) Pours a hazy pale yellow body with a medium white head. Aroma of coriander, orange peel, wet grains, and herbs. Flavor of orange peel, coriander, lemon, crackers, and subtle clove.

Bottle from a trade, can’t remember who with at this point. Also, thought I had tried this already (and may have in fact), and almost gave this to someone as an extra before I checked, so hooray for discovering hidden gems in the cellar. Pours a very cloudy golden yellow with a medium sized creamy white head. Nice musk, a bit of banana, wheat, peppery. Medium bodied, lightly sweet, a bit more musky yeast. Finishes lightly, touch of sweetness, bit of fruit. Not bad.

Bottle. Light yellow color. Very light aroma, a bit tart and light hops and malt. Flavor is very light. Not much flavor actually. Not any funk either. Saison? Doesnt seem lke it.
