COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This lightly carbonated, moderately sweet, medium-bodied Belgian-style Ale is smooth and well-rounded with a hint of spiciness only Belgian yeasts can create. Farm Girl Saison was lovingly created for the wife of a co-founder, inspired by the farm she grew up on.

UPDATED: DEC 23, 2013 TAP: slightly hazy gold pour, thin body, bubblegum aroma, with a yeast and clove taste. Solid saison.

Bottle, shared by Ferris. Bright hazy lemony yellow with a soft pillowy head. Strong aroma of marshmallow banana candies and bubblegum. Sweet profile, and I can’t ignore the candyish character-- more like a sweetened Belgian witbier than a saison. Didn’t care for it at all.

On tap @ the Honey. Hazy yellow appearance with a white head. Yeasty, sweet, wild Belgian ale nose. Refreshing sweet, yeasty, slightly wild Belgian saison flavor.

Pours golden with white head, aroma is slight belgian spice and esters. Taste is light ester banana and spices with a slightly sweet middle that finishes dry and rather plain. Not bad flavors, just not many of them.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a mostly cloudy orange color with a medium white head. A spicy and citrus nose. A smooth citrus, sweet malts, and honey flavor. Yeasty and spicy. Easy to drink.

12oz bottle, purchased from Brennan’s in Madison during my stay for GTMW. Somewhat hazy golden color. Little white head. Leaves decent rows of lace. Banana flavor up front. Mild spice, belgian saison yeast. Medium body. Smooth, lightly soft, lighter carbonation. Lightly dry finish. Lightly spicy herbal taste. Light to moderate bitter. Lighter sweet, light tangy taste. Some orange citrus. Solid saison, pretty nice to enjoy with my sandwich.

Hazy, pale straw colour. Nose is softly spicy with a bit of orange peel as well. The palate is kind of odd with a bit of salty savoury character. Thin palate and very, very weird. It smells okay, but it’s thin and oily at the same time. Kind of fishy tasting - nothing to recommend this one.

Tap. Pours hazy golden yellow with a small white head and good lacing. Aroma is yeast, wheat and honey. Flavor is lightly sweet, with yeast notes more prominent than in aroma, plus apple and a bit of spice. Medium body, silky in the mouth, quite refreshing actually.

Fruity. Light though. Lots of flavor. Served in the wrong glass and Stub and Herbs.

Bottle via a trade with bu11zeye. Pours with a hazed golden-brown body and a small, fizzy white head that dissipates. Aroma of honey, pear, oxidation, biscuit, banana and fennel. Taste is pear, caramel, vanilla, earth, toffee. Very fruity and sweet for a saison. Cereal. Medium to lively bubbles. Not super dry. Okay saison at best. Better to think of it as a regular belgian ale, as it is not dry or estery (in the correct way) enough.
