Shaker pour @ moto-i. This has been one of the most disappointing beers I have had in a while. It is a piss macro-yellow with a thick head. It is way too clear and way too light of a color. Aroma is banana esters and overly sweet Belgian aspects. Especially for a beer like this, its too light to be this sweet. Taste is too sweet, the esters are too strong for the rest of the beer as well. It has a strong mineral feel and an overly tingly carbonation. I feel something good can be made with this beer but this isn’t it right now. Jow (3897) - New York, USA - JUN 7, 2015
Tap at a twins game. Hazy yellow pour. Nose is candy and yeast. Tastes of lots of belgian yeast, candy, grass, vanilla, and some barnyard funk. Touch too sweet but still on perfect Sunday in Target field no complaints. Steve_0 (3745) - Denver, Colorado, USA - APR 19, 2015
On tap at Happy Gnome. Pour is clear golden with no visible head. Musty, lemony, doughy, herbs, and grass notes in the aroma. Taste is biscuit, straw, light pepper, somewhat musty, Belgian yeasty, and cracker malty. Light body with high carbonation. Nothing wrong with it, just uninspiring. drjay44 (3679) - Salida, Colorado, USA - MAR 17, 2013
12 oz. bottle. Pours a thin, poorly retained white head, over a hazy gold (SRM 4) body.....nose is cereal, hints of lemon, light pear.....taste is cereal, light lemon, hints of clove, finishing with a light bitterness.....mouth feel light of medium, minimal astringency, carbonation adds a light spritz and acidity to the finish. This falls well within this broad style. BJCP 7/2/13/4/7 jake65 (3626) - Meridian, Idaho, USA - JAN 5, 2010
Bottle: Pours a beautiful golden/straw color with a thin white head. Scents of florals, yeast, and cloves. Tastes light and crisp with florals, more yeast, and a little barnyard earthiness. Just a hint of dough... almost has some pilsener in it? Crisp finish. I love that it comes in 12oz bottles... perhaps something new for the summer rotation? Fun!

12 oz. bottle. Pours a lightly hazed pale gold that eventually clears with a thin, short-lasting white head. Pleasant aroma of Belgian yeast, white sugar, and a bit of spice. The flavor is similar with some white sugar sweetness. Mild bitterness at the finish. Medium body. A bit sweeter than I think most people would prefer for a saison, but I was ok with it. drpimento (3572) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 16, 2015
Barely qualifies for the saison moniker. Short lived head, no lace. Body is a tad thin. Aroma isn’t bad- yeast, wet grain, but little pungency. Slightly on the sweet side. Meh. northropfrye (3514) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - JUL 25, 2011
UPDATED: JUL 27, 2011 Quite good actually. Very much like a belgian saison. I enjoyed this a lot. jcnielsen (3403) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - MAY 11, 2013
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with white head. Straw, yeasty, malty aromas. Spicy, straw, yeasty, citrus flavors. Very solid saison. puzzl (3258) - New York, New York, USA - SEP 1, 2009
Bottle at WTWBA. Cloudy, pineapple yellow pour. Horsey and peanuty flavor, with husky wheat notes. Ratty, horsey, grainy flavor, mostly sweet with a little bit of wort. Blech.
