I thought it wouldbe smokier and more robust but it turns out to be a well-balanced stout.

Bottle thanks to Eric! Pours a dark brown color with a thick brown head. A nice nose of roast and coffee. A very good flavor of milky coffee, roast, light caramel, not much whiskey but a fiery bite. Nice. illidurit (2340) - San Francisco, California, USA - AUG 25, 2012

Black color with a small head. Strong Kaluha aroma: coffee, sugar, booze. Solid coffee flavor, at times seemed a bit stale. Very light roasty character. Light vanilla and alcohol. tfratzke (97) - St. Paul, Minnesota, USA - AUG 5, 2012
Pours jet black with dark brown head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, and whiskey. Nice creamy mouthful with more chocolate, some coffee, and the perfect amount of whiskey. Fairly sweet which is how I prefer my imperial stouts. This is simply fantastic. I wish I had more bottles.
