Solid coffee and cocoa nose. Easy drinking mild stout with chocolate and coffee. Some bitterness and wood finish.
Milder than i thought it would be but still great craic in the flavour depot .. . Dark brown boack , solid head, low lacing .. .boil and coffee, coffee grounds .. Brain feels good, light finish .. Its nice, not overly done .. . . When parents turn fifty, the children get to rename them. eruizgarcia (338) - - MAY 30, 2016
Lots of coffee and chocolate, strong malt backbone and yeast aftertaste. Delicious. Could be a bit thicker and have a tad more lacing.

Sampled from the tap at Red Cow Morth Loop. Pours near black with a a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is bitter coffee forward with bitter dark grains and a bit of whiskey underlying. Bomber brought by Eric for the 4th family get-together. Nicely sweet roasty. Chocolate. Turned sweeter later in the glass. Touches of lactose. Nicely put together. 14.2 piscator34 (2515) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - JUN 20, 2015
Bottle shared with oakbluff. Near black in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of whiskey, milk chocolate, vanilla, and light roast coffee. Flavors are a sweetish blend of coffee, whiskey and chocolate. Everything blends together really well here. Not a whole lot of sharp edges here. Iím not missing the heavier roast or hop notes that one would typically find in a bigger stout like this. Well done. BrewHaMeister (456) - Wisconsin, USA - MAR 6, 2015
Freshly tapped firkin at Keeganís with "special ingredients"....(Jameson Irish Whisky). 10 oz glass pours coffee black with an off white head and nice lacing. Aromas of chocolate, coffee, vanilla, and butterscotch. Flavor is creamy and rich, semi sweet, with a slight alcohol finish. Wow! Strykzone (7306) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - NOV 1, 2014
Sampled at esbls. Almost black. Lots of chocolate in this. Lots. Irish mint is lighter butbevident. Milk chocolate and dark varieties. Oakthat brings vanilla and interesting wood effects. Really good. TimE (5793) - Tokyo, JAPAN - MAY 23, 2014
Dark brown color. Quick dissipating off white head. As soon as the beer is poured out of the bottle it show massive massive sweet lactic roasted malt character. The milk stout is evident even before it hits my glass. The nose shows more bourbon notes with some dark chocolate, but still dominated by the milk stout. Big malty backbone, sweet, bourbon notes. Lots of dark chocolate. excellent.
