COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Inspired by the delightful combination of whiskey, sugar and coffee. However, you don’t have to be Irish and it doesn’t have to be morning to enjoy this labor of love. Our Imperial Stout was aged in whiskey barrels, then blended with a big Milk Stout, and finally infused with locally roasted cold-pressed coffee. It’s a complex beer meant to be shared with friends over an Irish toast.

Bomber. Black with a mocha cap and medium lacing. Vanilla, cream, soft whiskey and coffee, malts, and wood. Taste has a vanilla bean ice cream sweetness with a woody dry finish. Body is heavier with a creamy feel. One of the best brews from Lift Bridge.

Big bottle sent to me from Alpar, thanks again for this one, poured a dark brown, almost black color witha romas of cold coffee, whiskey, chocolate, more coffee, and more whiskey. Flavors of a cold Irish coffee. This beer was pretty amazing, had it with breakfeast, and man it was amazing. I really liked this beer, and I am in debt to Alpar for finding more for me. This was a simple beer that was straight foward, and I really enjoyed it alot.

Thanks to Bob for the 750mL bottle! Poured high-viscosity brown with a creamy cap of dark tan head.. looked great in the glass! The aroma picked up bit lactose and other sweet chocolatey notes joined by some dry-roasted coffee.. not a whole lot of whisky barrel was apparent, but there was related vanilla and a hint of oak.. came back to lactose sugars and chocolate on the back of the nose. The flavor found tangy whisky barrel accents over cream and chocolate notes at the core.. dry coffee roast, tart oak, and surprisingly clean whisky notes on the edges.. peppery and spicy, but with really good balance on the warm finish.. tasty stuff! Medium-plus bodied and fairly full on the palate.. lots of roast held the hefty sweetness in check.. I enjoyed the long, sweet-yet-barrely finish.. really good stuff!

One of my favorite Lift Bridge beers. Seasonal bomber tasting of coffee, vanilla, and cream. The coffee taste is not overwhelming. Excellent Beer.

On tap at Buster’s on 28th last Saint Patrick’s Day. Great stout with the dry character you’d expect from Irish styles

Pour out of 750 mL bottle, thick black pour with nice tan head, aroma brought notes of espresso, dark chocolate, hints of lactose, touch of grain, caramel, toffee in there as well, smells very nice. Taste is a mix of green espresso bean, hints of coffee, whiskey, slight oak, nice chocolate in there, finishing fairly coffee forward with lots of dark chocolate, slightly bitter, Very tasty.
