BC liquor store in Nelson. Pours clear copper with nice big white head. Nose of citrus, touch of caramel and alcohol. Flavor orange and grapefruit with a hint of toasted grain and pine. Nice bite of bitterness and sweetness on the finish. DomD (317) - Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - JUL 7, 2016
Bottle into glass. Nice strong hoppy citrus aroma. Pours a clear amber with white head. Taste is medium to heavy bitter. Medium bodied with a creamy texture and bitter finish. An excellent IPA that goes down very easy for such a strong beer. beerplace (2287) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 25, 2016
Bottle bought in Liberty Wine Merchants. Aroma and taste are tropical fruits, some flowers (similar to lagers, hm...), a little bit dirty on the background. Tropical fruits bitterness aftertaste. Good one. WhiskyBraj (13) - British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 15, 2015
Huge fruit bomb of an IPA. Sweet but not cloying malt base that has been hopped to hell and back. Surprisingly balanced and hides the 9.1% masterfully. Scarily easy to drink. martyfishman (3) - British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 16, 2015 does not count
Well, I may have come down hard on Litehouse for their "new" standard "shipwreck" IPA, but they have won me back with Numbskull. Compared to some other reviews, I found that the bitterness was not harsh, and that the beer was surprisingly light and smooth for a 9.1% ABV brew. Not at all the brute I expected, but rather a very smooth, slightly sweetish, mellow and balanced IIPA. Goes down as easy as any IPA I have had. Really enjoyed this one.

Bottle: Poured a hazy orangey color ale with a nice off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy notes is pretty refreshing with some residual sugar notes and bitterness also perceptible. Taste is also a mix of citrusy notes with medium level of bitterness with some residual sugar and light caramel malt notes distinguishable. Body is full with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Very enjoyable beer but would improve with more attenuation and less bitterness. MunBro (942) - St. Albert, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 7, 2015
Tried at Edmonton Craft Beerfest 2015. The best IPA of the day. Huge bitterness from the high IBU stomps on your tongue and doesn’t apologize. Huge citrus hop flavours follow with a strong malt backing. Can’t even tell it’s a 9%+ abv which is even more deadly. I liked this indeed... Carbonatation moyenne, corps moyen. JanosX (54) - - APR 15, 2015
Golden with a thinner, slightly Lacey head. Aroma of grapefruit and fuzzy peaches (yep the candy). The peach candy continues as a base for the the citrusy hops in flavour. Very much a front of mouth experience. Very good! cards04 (2943) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - FEB 5, 2015
A solid IPA. Pours a dark golden. Aromas agree citrus and dank good. A touch thin and watery for a double IPA. Nice hoppy, and dank.
