UXO (1896) - CANADA - MAR 31, 2017
Appearance: clear deep gold with one fat finger of fluffy white head, good retention and patchy lacing. (4/5) Aroma: caramel, berry, tropical fruit, grassy, floral. (6/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate bitter. (6/10) Palate: medium-light body, moderate carbonation, off-dry mildly bitter finish. (3/5) A bit of a disappointing pale ale, dominated by malt instead of hops. I’m also not getting any of the white wine notes I often associate with ANZ hops, though there is a little berry note. Easy drinking, if a bit thin and bland. (12/20) 6/10 #ryansbooze ryansbooze.com

Bottle. Copper-orange with a small head. Light but pleasant aroma of caramel, black currant, and a touch of pineapple. Balanced flavour, with mild caramel, vanilla and lightly toasted malt up front, some cut grass in the middle, and mellow citrus and pineapple in the medium-length finish. Medium bodied, crisp, a bit astringent around the edges. Not bad.

pintbypint (3763) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 11, 2016
355ml brown bottle. Copper colour, clear, small clingy and soapy looking white head. Nose is fruity, touch of citrus and some caramel. Taste caramel malts with light fruitiness. Light citrusy and fruity finish, bitterness is low. Overall pretty light, was hoping for more of a hop kick.

Small white frothy head atop an orange body. Nose of Amber ale, mild cantaloupe. Sweet and somewhat fruity. This may be an old bottle.

Hmmmmm, I didn’t like this. Bitter, weak, low carbonation, just doesn’t taste right. Someone reviewed it as skunky, and it kind of is. Not enjoying this one.

tdubs92 (63) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 15, 2015
Strong lime, lemon and grapefruit aroma. Dark orange. Average off white head that bubbles away into a thin top. Taste is of barley and malt. Only a slight hop taste and the citrus is not very distinctive. Satisfactory ale

Faint arome of malts and hops. Had a very off taste, I suspect I got a skunked bottle due to the lighter glass bottles Lighthouse uses. Seemed to have a decent hop profile and nice balance.

UPDATED: JAN 19, 2017 2016.02.15- 7th - #CraftBeerFantasyLeague 2016 - Pale Ales Rating #1083 - May 17, 2014 - Bottle from taster pack. Golden brown pour with a creamy white head that bubbles away quickly, very fragrant with mild citrus in the aroma. Mouthfeel is creamy, medium carbonation, and light bitter hops on the finish - but not overpowering, very balanced. Delicious.

Bottle @ BC Liquors. Clear golden pour with a white head. Nose is kind of innocuous. Minimal hop aromas. Just sort of grassy and floral, maybe a touch vegetal. Some sweet bread in there as well. Flavor is similarly bland. Some bread, cracker, and. Dry faint hops. Notes of grass and dried flowers. Meh.

exeter (536) - calgary, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 11, 2014
UPDATED: NOV 28, 2014 From the Lighthouse Sampler. A very peppery start with sweet toffee. Is balanced with a mineral-like bitterness, tropical fruit in the finish. Very drinkable.
