Nuts and dry caramel in the nose. The beer starts fresh dry with a great caramel dry body. Roast, mild and fresh. Very nice and smooth. Mild refreshing smooth moderate bitter aftertaste, refreshing nuts and caramel, great roasted dry hazelnuts.

Bottle - nearly black color with a thick white head. full body of dark malts, without being too roasty. aroma is a bit coffee, spices. medium sweet. very well balanced and actually a pleasure to drink. finishes medium dry. could have been more complex, otherwise a very nice brown ale.

Brown ale with guiness like froth, thanks to oats added in the mashing process. roasted rye malts and caramel malts give the beer a taste of chocolate, cinnamon and coffee. Subtle vanilla notes! First beer with tonka beans i tried.
