danlo (3018) - Darlington, Durham, ENGLAND - MAR 14, 2017
500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Hazy straw colour, no head and tangy apple & pear aroma. Taste is sweet & slightly tart mellow apple and some pear with light woody notes. Medium bodied, low carbonation, sweet dryish finish. OK.

gegwilson (3674) - North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 10, 2016
Keg in a pub in Frome. Hazy gold with no head. Sweet apple aroma. The taste is very sweet. Stewed apple and sweet pear. Easy drinking.

Cask at Beerwolf Books, Falmouth, 25/04/16. Golden orange with a moderate off White cap. Nose is sweet apple pulp, pear drop, caramelised sugars, custard. Taste comprises apple pie, sweet licks, trace of pear jus. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, sweet drying close. So so ... too sweet and meaty for me ... lacks balance.

ManVsBeer (10253) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - SEP 20, 2014
Box @ Parcel Office Bar, Hebden Bridge. Cloudy yellow with some bubbles for a head. Has a sweet apple nose and decent apple taste without the suggested strength.

Light hazy amber... Thin white head... Soft light tanin apple... Soft fruits nose... Juicy fruits... Its soft sweet pear fruits with the dry tanins of the apples

minutemat (5396) - Shrewsbury, Shropshire, ENGLAND - NOV 29, 2013
Cash @ Rat & Ratchet, Huddersfield. Way too tart and strong tasting for me and, like Gwatkins, exactly what cider shouldn’t be. Also has a similarly sweet creamy pastry coming through. Really not into this.

Fin (10470) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 27, 2011
Polycask at FFTMC, Oxford with Loz, Jan, Charlotte Sun 23.10.11 Pours clean gold, it is a tiny bit hazy, no bubbles too sweet, didn’t realise that it was effectively a Broadoak cider that explains a lot. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 2.9

Cask (Southampton Arms, RBESG2011 Saturday)
Packed full of apple aromas, with a lovely sour corner to spike it up a bit. Hazy orangy gold. Super soft sweet taste, it’s just apples everywhere. The pear component it pretty much subdued. Lovely crisp palate, pleasantly tart. A super drinkable and sessionable cider. No hint of alcohol at all.

Miksu (5053) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - SEP 4, 2011
Cask at Southampton Arms, London. Hazy deep golden color. Sweetish and dangerously drinkable. Good balance between grapefruit and perry notes. Smooth with good acidic backbone. Great!

Cask (handpump) @ Southampton Arms, 139 Highgate Road, London, Greater London, England NW5 1LE.

Hazy medium matt lightorange - yellow colour with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy apple, light vanilla, vinegar notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light light acidic with a average to long duration, tart apples. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110731]
