April 29, 2014 - on tap at Lily’s. Clear yellowish pour with limited head. Aroma was yeast, clove and fruity. Taste was consistent with aroma, but also had some spice.

Draft. Poured an hazy yellow color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate spice and wheat aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Soft drinkable beer.

On-tap at the pub, poured into a mini pint glass...Pours a medium straw, a little murky. The head is off white poor retention and lacing. Served with a lemon slice!...The aroma is too light, but what I do get is nice, cloves mostly, banana finish...The taste is mostly cloves, too light again. There is a weird hoppy middle that is just out of place. Not a thrist quencher at all...The mouthfeel is too watery...Easy drinker. One of my least favorite beers of the flight, I would skip this in the future.

Draft serving. Did smell like bananas and cloves but the taste has much to be desired. The flavor was overpowered by astringent taste that some on else noted. After taste hung around in my mouth for awhile. Will not be drinking this one again.

If memory serves me correctly, another reason to leave American wheat beers alone. Little flavor beyond that blandness that such beers carry.

thedm (6275) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - OCT 26, 2006
This draft brew from a festival poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that was long lasting and left behind a hazy dark yellow colored body and an excellent lacing. The aroma was hoppy floral malty and slightly astringent. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The softly acidic flavor contained floral notes and wheat. Not one that I would drink again.

hotstuff (5202) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - SEP 9, 2006
Draft. Small white head that quickly dissipated, lackluster lacing, no visible carbonation, cloudy, and a pale yellow hue. Nose was that of bananas, clove, spicy, and sweet. Ditto for the flavor. Smooth palate. Light body.

Tap. Hazy blonde color that is clearer than I would like. Very light clove and bananna flavor and aroma. Decent, nothing to rave about.

UPDATED: MAR 10, 2005 Very nice fruity smell, not over powering but distinct. The flavors rush into your mouth and leave it feelign refreshed and satisfied.
