Haze yellow. Small head. Spicy. Low carbonation. Faint flavours. Boring.
Draught at Rosie O’Grady’s, Napier. Cloudy pale amber, creamy head. Orangey nose. Sweet, fruity and yeasty with notes of melon and clean mouthfeel. There’s not estery bananaish Weihenstephaner yeast character, rather witbier like curacao falvour. Orange jam dominates thie finish. Not the best offering from Limburg. rgrep (156) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 12, 2005
Pours a cloudy liquor that fades from a pale yellow to light gold below the blossoming white head. The nose is apple blossom and spice with notes of apple juice concentrate. The body is light with some spice, a little orange, and vinous notes reminiscent of watered-down apple juice. yalnikim (800) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 2, 2005
Tasted 02/05/2005. 330ml bottle from New World, Miramar.
Pours a murky yellow with a large, almost uncontrollable, sudsy looking, white head. Aroma is predominantly of green apple chewy lollies with hints of banana, spices and yoghurt. Sweet flavour up front with more suggestion of apple plus wheat. Spicey through the middle with very little bitterness. Watery mouthfeel and palate. This one is a little too thin and overly carbonated. I remember it being better. Disappointing that there are no batch details. SBC (4) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - OCT 12, 2004 does not count
Appearance was a bit on the over cloudy side if that is possible. Aroma offers banana and caramel with hints of clove. Flavour is typical for the style with a long palate that goes from banana in to caramel. Good carbonation on this batch (Best Before Apr 05) a couple of the past batches have been a bit firey at best.

Foggy blond body. Flavour and aroma were really no descript for me at this stage of the night. Weisse beers were being through on the back of stouts and chocolate porters. Stouts were being contrast and shared with pilsners and bocks. It was frenzy time.

strange aroma of apple cider. tasted mainly of cloves with some wheat bix and vanilla ice cream. pretty bland, especially compared to limburg's excellent wit Millsy (3) - NEW ZEALAND - OCT 12, 2002 does not count
Light coloured (almost orangey) with a big, fluffy head. Flavour has strong wheat and fruit tastes - particularly banana and maybe a hint of chewing gum. Good stuff. Caton (160) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - JUL 6, 2002
When Duff and i both had this we looked at each other and thought were is the flavour. Little bit of fruit aromas and a stale finish. I want to give this beer another go and hope that we had a bad bottle. duff (5484) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 10, 2002
Hmmmm, maybe i missed something or maybe i had a bad bottle, but it was really lifeless, little lasting head, which is unusual for a weiss, stale wheat and slight banana aroma, quite light aswell, sorry, no stand out flavour, i wasn’t really a fan.
