Handpull cask at the Salmon, Leicester. Golden and clear with a full white head. Floral and slightly buttery aroma with light citrus. Bitter, fruity taste with intense astringency in the finish. Kumquat peel and physalis in the aftertaste. Interesting, and grows on me. Grumbo (4965) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - OCT 15, 2017

Bottle from Real Ale Store, Newark (via Claire). Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Lovely citrus fruit nose, gentle malty notes on the palate, with a refreshing hoppy bitterness. Lovely quaffable brew, would be great for a session. Like it! daniele (10207) - ITALY - AUG 14, 2016

Clear medium orange yellow color with a virtually no head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, light caramel, light to moderate hoppy, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat.
Cask at The Roebuck, Leek (Titanic) A clear golden colour with a medium white head. Soft aroma of soapy lemon, some grapefruit, slight cereal and subtle floral hops. Taste of grapefruit, lemon, some resin, cereal malts and subtle floral hops. Light bodied and an oily texture. A dry, resinous, slightly floral hop bitterness in the finish. The flavour is a lot better than the aroma, decent grapefruit and resin presence in it. Overall a over average for a golden ale.
