Hand pull at the Stumble Inn. Excellent full bodied porter, kept it’s head very well. Malty with hint of bitterness, toast and nuttiness. Smooth and deceptively drinkable and moreish.

Onesimus (104) - Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - OCT 27, 2016
I didn’t get much aroma (not sure why)
Head about a finger slight lacing
Taste a nice balanced malt roast taste hint of coffee, and dark fruits. A surprise in the hops a hint of pith from orange peel.
I thought it was a bit thin on the palate but just enough carbonation.
Overall I enjoyed its smooth not over bitter flavour

Cask, half-pint at Silk Mill Cider & Ale House. Crocheted lacing from a bubbly fawn-coloured head. Jet black in body appearance. Smell of roasted malts, moments of coffee. Burnt dark malty flavours, hints of coffee and dark leaves. Nicely roasted bitterness to the finish. Pleasant (Derby 21.02.2016).

Fra fat på Silk Mill i Derby 21 Feb 16. Delt med Rune. Svart. Lavt mokkafarget skum. Tynn lacing. God aroma av røstet malt & mye melkesjokolade. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken litt sjokolade med hint av lakris. Tørr avslutning. God!

3.6
The_Osprey (9345) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 23, 2016
Cask at the Lych Gate Tavern, Wolverhampton. As ’Lincoln Green Tuck’, 4.7%. Very dark brown, red hue, decent creamy dense head, a full coat of thin lacing. Aroma is coffee, milky, biscuits. Body is medium, rounded, smooth. Taste is coffee, roasted malt, milky, chocolate biscuits, a little smoke. A nice rounded porter. Well-flavoured for a moderate ABV. A nice surprise.
