Bottle. Dark brown color. Maltaroma with soft caramelly notes. Caramelly sweet flavor, hopped enough to show hints of grass. Just a hint of licorice. A bit sticky in the aftertaste, but overall a nice clean doppelbock.

Shared bottle at local tasting. Pours almost clear dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is malty, bready . Taste is moderate sweet, smooth malts, nice doppel, but nothing extraordinary. Erzengel (9348) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - AUG 28, 2015
Nice smooth but a bit rough beginning. Sweetish-sticky body with hints of dried fruit. Very rich, sweetish and intense. Malty-sticky-sweetish, nearly no bitterness. Too much sweetness for me. Sigmund (7828) - Tau, NORWAY - DEC 3, 2016
Shared bottle at local tasting. ABV 7.5%. Dark brown colour, beige head. Malty aroma, brown bread and caramel. Very malty flavour, brown bread and caramel again.
