30cl bottle @ home. Clear dark red-brown color, pinky white long lasting head. Aroma floral, dark fruits, light cherry notes, caramel, coffee, roasty malt, slightly woody. Taste medium sweetness - just enjoyable, medium bitterness. Medium to full body, sticky texture, lively carbon, medium lasting fine bitter finish. Good quality, tasty bock, quite complex aroma.

Countbeer (6592) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - NOV 24, 2012
Bottle: Medium to bigger sized, vast and slow changing/disappearing ashy light brown light tan colored head on top of an almost clear darker ruby colored beer. Smell toasted/roasted barleys, raisins, caramel, toffee, hint of liquorice wood, light light vinous note, some nuts, prunes, cherries, creamy, fruit liquor. Fine smelling beer. Taste toasted barley malts, caramel, toffee, prunes, hint of tobacco, toasted autumnal leaves, syrupy iron, creamy, bitter, toasted grass, spicy, earthy. Very well balanced and tasty. After a while, luckily, the iron is gone! Aftertaste is a mix of toasted autumnal herbs, toasted leaves, bitters, some spices, earth and malty nuts. Low carbo, soft silky mouthfeel, medium body and a creamy texture. Bit too much iron in the beginning, but furtherwise this is a fine bock beer!

Small offwhite head, reddish brown coloured. Aroma has caramel, malts, sweety, chocolate and cacao. Taste sweetish bitter, full bodied, with hints of choclate and some coffee, and caramel. Nice bok, with a slightly bitter finish, smooth, nice.

DijkBier (375) - AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS - JAN 1, 2017
(I rate it, because I drank it again and liked it). Bottle pours dark ruby-brown with a tan head. A sweet but nice and full aroma of roasted malts, caramel and spices. Taste is accordingly; quite sweet, more than medium, light bitter, with some licorice in the finish. Although rather sweet this is a tasty dubbelbock.

Robijnrood helder met minimale kaki kraag Aroma: rozijnen, mout, zoet, kersen Smaken: redelijk zoet, matig bitter, sterk, matig gefruit, redelijk gemout(caramout), aardse smaken, caramel, kersen en vlierbessen Medium body, glad in de mond, laag co2, afdronk zoetig, conclusie een mooie bok!

A full sweet beer without being sugary. Nice.
