COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Breaking the mold among existing beer styles, Lindemans developed the Botanical Lambics, a collection of old gueuzes with a twist. Second in this series, BlossomGueuze is based on a blend of 12 months with 2 to 3 year-old lambic fermented in oak and elderflower. Refermented in the bottle, BlossomGueuze has a golden colour and combines the sourness of lambic with the subtle flavours of elderflower. Ideal as an aperitif, it is also perfect for food pairings.

Warsaw Beer Festival (WFP6), April 2017 backlog

Very nicely floral, lots of fresh flowers on the nose and finish. Nicely sour and balanced, very drinkable, good afterparty beer

750ml bottle - thanks martjoobolut! (6:4:6:4:13=3.3)
Pleasant sourish aroma, some grassy herbal aspects. Pleasant sourish taste but very herbal bias. Has that bitter floral aspect I get from some teas. Oh well, I guess I can drink this.

Marduk (7912) - Reval, ESTONIA - JUL 1, 2017
750ml bottle (thanks martjoobolut). Clear golden amber color. Medium size, off-white thick head, stays. White pepper, herbal, rubber, dry and bit yeasty in aroma. Sour, white pepper, fruity, bit papery in taste. White pepper and acidic in aftertaste. Spicy and acidic mouthfeel. Kind of drinkable.

4.3
caesar (7165) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - JUN 30, 2017
Bottle from Burg Bieren, bottled Sept 2015, 35 cl sample. Almost clear golden color, short frothy head. Smooth geuze aroma of slight lactic and a bit citric notes, funky and a smooth layer of blossomy elderflower. Perfectly blending with the base beer. Smooth sourness, bit citric sweetness even. Base beer doesnt have any sharp edges, but is wonderfully balanced and never going to the extreme. Great, could easily finish the whole bottle myself.

Benzai (15711) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - JUN 25, 2017
Sampled @ Van Moll Brewpub. Hazy yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste sourness, tart, somewhat sharp imo. Nice though.

ctipping (2107) - Florida, USA - JUN 16, 2017
750 mL bottle. Clear golden body. Medium white head. Smells of strong elderflower. Herbal, floral, citrus, a bit of green pepper. Some oak. Tastes lightly tart. Funky and diapery. Oak. Lightly sweet. Green pepper, flowers, herbal finish. Medium body. Smells nice, but doesn’t quite pan out in the flavor.

Bottle. Clear golden pour with a white head. Nice mellow barnyard bouquet. Mildy sour with floral highlights. Oak and vanilla backbeats. Good body and mouthfeel.

Lele (556) - Padova, ITALY - MAY 15, 2017
Abbastanza sporca al naso e anche puzzolente, come piace a me. Acido abbastanza sostenuto in bocca, con un finale secco e con un leggerissimo floreale, anche se le note di sambuco si sentono leggermente più al naso piuttosto che in bocca. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
