Pours with a short lived, white foam. The beer is a crystal clear brown and quite effervescent. Nose is mouthwateringly tart with sour apples and toffees. The flavor is a mixture of sugary, sweet tea-like notes with a metallic twang in the finish.

Bouteille avec bouchon 375 ml. Couleur ambre et quasiment pas de mousse. Nez puissant de fruits aigres, cerise, prune, pomme, bois. Forte carbonatation. Bouche aigre puis sucre. Saveurs sur les fruits, le caramel, le sucre candi. Finale acide, un peu amre. Sympa.

Vynikající lambik, pro mě první zkušenost s Farem, a musím říct, že velmi příjemná. Osvěžující sladké pivo, s jemnou pěnou a bohatým ovocným, sladkokyselým aromatem.

Vineous, fruity apple aromas; light funk and oak. Still some residual sugars, light acetic and lactic acid, balanced towards lactic acid.

Mishnok (332) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - AUG 13, 2017
Looks appealing when poured with a dark yellow/brown colour, bit of fizz. Taste is sweetish sour, quite apple like. You could easily mistake it for a cider. Very nice ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

375ml bottle. Pours clear reddish amber, medium sized beige head, doesn’t last. Aroma is tart, apples, bit woody, winey. Taste is soursweet, acidic at first, but sugary sweetness kicks in, caramelly brown sugar, some coca-cola. Sourness and sweetness are quite well balanced, so it’s even possible to drink it. Rather sugary finish. Medium body, average carbo. Haven’t had any other Faro’s yet, but it’s kinda drinkable.

ABT bier van de maand. Tap@ de Klep. Amberkleur. Zoet snoepgoed aroma. Smaakt fris zoet zuur, maar meer zoet. Roosvicee achtig.

Bootlegger007 (231) - AUSTRALIA - AUG 6, 2017
Dark but clear tawny colour with a small diminishing head, aromas of light malts and an earthy yeast characteristic, flavours of sweet fruits, also a sour mouthfeel, refreshing and easy drinking.

Backlog. Bottle purchased @Smak Gdańsk
Sweet candy aroma covers most of what’s beneath, though some grapes and slight barnyard funk comes through.
Taste is sweet, with slight hints sourness. The sugary, artificial sweetness is totally not my thing. Would not have another, one was a tiring experience.

0.25l bottle. Malty aroma, yeasty and candy notes, white wine notes Hazy amber color, white head. Malty taste, yeasty notes, candy, light caramel, wine notes, light sour, light to medium sweet, light bitter. Light to medium body, slick texture, average carbonation and malty, sour and sweet finish. Very good.
