Bottle at Theatre de Toone, Brussels. My first faro. Corked bottle. Dark hazy amber color with a head that ringed. Very mild aroma. Seems a bit soapy. Medium body with sharpish yet mild carbonation. Its sweet and sour at the same time. Flavor is light sour, light oak, light raisin. Its certainly balanced. Good drink.

Capped and corked green bottle poured a clear amber with a small lingering light amber head. Aromas of apple, carmel, spice and earthiness. Palate was light bodied anmd crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of carmel, earthiness, spice and light fruittiness with a crisp dry lingering carmel finish.

Bottle with cork. Poured dark copper color with an average fizzy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Good barley wheat & yeast aroma. Medium body with tingly texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy sweet fruity flavor with a solid fruit and small alcohol bite finish of moderate to long duration. This is a standout lambic.

Cloudy light orange, big head. Great sour apple flavour with orange / lemon, perhaps a bit too sweet otherwise. Cracking.

Bottle - Dark malts, spices and yeast. Clear effervescent amber. Sweet and mellow malts with some sourness with the spice of the rye. You also get some rotting apple. Very nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Beers of Europe. It pours deep amber, with a thin off-white head. The nose is pretty damn sweet: stewed apple, sweet plum, raisin, white sugar and a hint of spice. The taste is also pretty damn sweet: stewed apple, pear, raisin, touch of lemon pith, hint of tanginess (reminiscent of vomit), caramel and white sugar, with a very sweet finish. Medium body and low carbonation. Far too sweet and not nearly enough tartness. I can barely get past a few mouth-fulls drain pour.

Bottle sample at the 3rd Israeli Sour Tasting. Thanks Lee. BBD 11/12. Hazy dark orange-golden. Somewhat funky aroma with a bit sugar. Sweet flavor with sugar, a bit of honey, caramel, a bit of wood, some funky sourness and light herbal bitterness. Medium-bodied. Decent.
