Thanks DCLawyer for sharing the bottle! Poured into a snifter showing caramel brown and sparse rust tinged foam. The nose shows notes of sweet brett. The palate is full bodied and lightly carbonated. Moderately tart with a sweet cane sugar forwardness but moderately sweet and not overwhelming.

Shared 12 oz. bottle. Amber with a white head and plenty of particles floating around. Aroma is tart, vinous, fruity and sweet. Taste is sour, fruity, malty, vinegar, and very sweet. Has an exceptionally sweet candied sugar finish. Overall, its a bit strange.

Very Amber sugary color. The smell is nicely sourish and smells like brett. The taste is lightly sourish and quite sweet. I still dont like the waste of perfectly good lambic just to add sugar, but I still like it.

Way too sweet! Can't handle it, tiny tart body. Drain pour on this one.

Dark orange color with nice off white head. Aroma of wine, cider, wet wood, basement aroma as well. Taste is well balanced sweet and sour. Light body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Nce lambic.

Bottle, cortesy of Brigadier much thanks! Pours a hazy orange that browns in the center of the glass and maintains a thin off white head clinging to the edge of the glass and a thin bubbly layer over the body of the beer. Aroma is slightly sour, champagne notes and a hint of funk. Sweet upfront quickly followed by a potent sour blast which fades away again yielding to a nice fruity sweetness and hints of funk. Lively fizzy carbonation carries the flavor throughout your mouth. Leaves little aftertaste except a tart sweetness coating the gums.

UPDATED: FEB 19, 2006 this was pretty awesome. aroma of sour cherries, syrup, brown sugar, and white grape juice. the flavor was pretty complex in my opinion. hits at first like cherry dimetap, white grapes, and then if you wait between sips, the flavor sticks on the middle of your tongue like a cherry coughdrop. has a wine-y kind of feel to it. very very sweet the more you drink. after the cough drop flavor wears away, i get some apple cider notes. mmmm...

Bottle, 37,5 cl. Amberbrown, lots of co2, no head. First a malty hoppy aroma, later some fruit. Alzo somewhat sweety. Smooth taste, sweetish, also fruity, slithgly bitter. Somewhat dry finish. Fresh thirstquenching beer.
