Bottle, 37,5 cl. Amberbrown, lots of co2, no head. First a malty hoppy aroma, later some fruit. Alzo somewhat sweety. Smooth taste, sweetish, also fruity, slithgly bitter. Somewhat dry finish. Fresh thirstquenching beer.

Rating #1125, flaske fra The Bottle Shop i Brgge

Pours clear light brown basically no head but very visible carbonation. Big funk sour aroma, horse blanket and musty. This is actually much sweeter than the aroma led me to anticipate. Sour cherry sweetness, quite pleasant and really why I like this this style, although this is a bit too sweet to get top marks.

bottle @ home.

Quirky beer from Lindemans, its been days since Ive enjoyed it and taken my notes and I still am not sure what to completely make of it. Body is amber brown in color and produces a 1/4" filmy, white head. Spotty lacing and ample carbonation create for a great appearance. The aroma is a medley of sugary and sour fruits coupled by some light brown sugar, reminds me of plain doughnuts that have just been brought out to cool. Tart with a sticky sweetness and thick finish that coats the mouth. I found the feel somewhat of a drawback due to the heavy sweetness, but the mild tartness is refreshing. Mixed sour fruit and sugary baked good flavors. Somewhat dry, wheat and caramel seem to ease their way into the mix. Hard to pinpoint the aroma and flavor any better, its odd and intriguing. Nothing Ill likely go back to.

375 ml bottle, best before August 2007. My first Faro! A good celebratory rating on my 4 year anniversary here at Ratebeer. Deep golden colour with a thin off-white foam. Sweet, honey, almost orange peel like aroma. Very sweet, light sourness, lightly winy and sherry flavour. Medium bodied, a bit syrupy.

I finally found a Faro lambic! Poured a clear honey color with a white foamy head. Aroma is very similar to a gueuze, with some sour notes and yeast. Taste is sweet with fruity notes, mainly grapes and cherries. Taste is closer to a fruit lambic than to a gueuze. A good amount of flavor, but not many yeast or sour tastes. Finish is a little bit more dry than the beginning. An interesting style, but I think i prefer gueuze and fruit lambics.

355mL bottle poured into a tulip -- light brown, syrup looking. Its sweet and not very complex. Im not a huge fan.

0,375l. Pours copper with a frothy beige head. Good lacing. Aroma of apples and champagne. Tastes like Russian champagne with added bitterness and sugar. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
