It’s made from malt, wheat, hops, water, yeast. Candy sugar is added before the bottling takes place. It is a clear, light red colored faro lambic with a small, creamy head.

Way too sweet. Maybe Belgians like this style, but no thanks. The 'Belgian Candi sugar added' (on the bottle) explains a lot. Think port wine meets Brettanomyces. Ick

250ml bottle. Pours dark orange with medium white head. Aroma of apples, malts, wine, yeast. Light body with average carbonation. Taste is a mix of sweet and sour, with a sweet finish.

UPDATED: SEP 14, 2017 Pours a dirty dark orange. Aroma is a sour citrus smell. Flavor is more sweet than sour and is very drinkable. Not my style of beer but I'm pleasantly surprised on the flavor

I'm of two minds here.... It wasn't really bad... But also just not good. It's a lambic, but the sourness isn't very pronounced. The sweetness feels artificial and too much. The typical barnyardy smells I would like to find in a lambic are hardly there. On the other, as a mild and accesible easy drinking beer, it's quite ok. The sweetness overpowers the sours, sure, but it's still there. A bit like a good cider really, with some tartness and applejuice sweetness. It could be worse. Might give it a go again in a few months, see what I feel.

UPDATED: SEP 8, 2017 Po odkorkowaniu butelki rozszedł się w powietrzu aromat winny, szampana. Po nalaniu pojawiła się piana, niezbyt intensywna, szybko redukująca, brak lacingu. W aromacie czuć też słodycz, pewnie od cukru kandyzowanego. Barwa jasno bursztynowa, idealnie klarowne. W smaku słodkie, kwaśne, winne, brak goryczy. Duża treściwość.

Pours light red from the bottle. Aroma is apple cider, funk, spices. Taste is tart, finishing sweet, with notes of apple vinegar and sugar. Body is medium with a prickly carbonation. Good.

355ml bottle at The Trappe Door. Pours clears reddish orange with a foamy but fading white head. The nose is tart, funky fruit. Flavors are sweeter but still tangy fruit, yeast, sweet peach, lIghtly acetic. Light body with fine carbonation. Finish is champagne and tart apple cider. Very nice.

Warka do 25.07.2018. Kolor bursztynowy, piwo raczej klarowne. Piana bardzo skromna. W aromacie bardzo wyrazne nuty winne, niedojrzale owoce, lekko kwaskowe. W smaku bardzo slodko, ale tez kwaskowo co bardzo fajnie sie ze soba komponuje. Czuc cukier, znow troche niedojrzalych owocow. W posmaku znow cukier. Niby niewiele sie dzieje, ale ogolnie piwo jest naprawde smaczne. Swietnie skomponowane i to jest tutaj kluczem

Partagée avec mon cher Appiantiqua dans nos petits verres Duvel 18cl.Belle robe cuivrée surmontée d’une mousse blanche qui disparaît très vite avec une carbonatation intense.Le nez nous fait tout de suite penser au cidre avec des pointes d’acidité et des arômes de fermentation.La bouche nous amène sur une agréable douceur mêlée à l’acidité toujours bien présentenous laissant sur une fraîcheur sans aucune lourdeur.Une surprenante découverte! 16/20
