Clear reddish-brass colored body and clean white dissipating head. Some light visible viscosity. Waxy lactic aroma with buttery, nutty notes. Flavor is like oversweetened tea with some caramel and honey. Mild tartness fails to provide sufficient balance. Syrupy palate like a very sweet soda. This is pure candy beer. Based on this one limited example, this style serves no useful purpose for me.

29. 11. 2017, Ljubljana. Bottled. Aroma is sweet an soury. Amber colour with some head with almost no retention. Taste is surprisinly sweet at start and just eniugh twisted with sourness acid at finish. Very nicely balanced. Aftertaste is the same. Mouthfell is lightbodied with moderate carb. Can be consumed like juice it is really drinkable. I love it.

Una sorpresa, erbaceo colore ombroso schiuma leggermente densa e poi Sapore che ti spiazza: fruttato, Dolciastro ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

In some ways this is simple -- it's a lambic sweetened with candy sugar -- but in other ways it's quite unusual. The dry, earthy funk from the lambic is definitely there, but it's evened out by the sweetness from the syrup. It's almost like a fruited lambic, but taking some shortcuts by just adding sugar.

355ml bottle. Pours with a clear amber colo a a small white head. Nose is very fuity, lots of ripe berries and grapes, some decaying and some old balsamico vinegar aromas. Taste is well balanced sweet-sour flavor with a nice dry finish.
