Number 300! Pours a dark thick red with a girly pink head. Aroma of raspberries with a wonderful sour/sweet raspberry flavor with a nice sugary sweet finish.

From a 12 oz bottle, light head when poured into custom flute-like glass. Sweet and a little sticky on the tougue, this is a fine dessert wine, particularly when paired with chocolate, or which vanilla ice cream. Also might make for a decent apartif.

Pretty pink head that lasted well and left good lacing. Deep cherry red body. Lovely aroma of berries that jumps right out of the bottle when opening it. Sweet smooth taste that is almost syrupy but easy enough to drink, medium body with a great length of taste. Excellent beer to have at the end of an evening meal.

UPDATED: MAY 1, 2006 Because my first Fruit beer was a Lindemans Peche ( That i thought tasted like a peach wine cooler). I was hesitant to by a bottle so i got the 12 oz. version. I later regreted this. This is pretty much the perfect desert beer for me. Fresh mashed raspberries hit the nose with every bursting bubble, but not like a wine cooler i can also sense the wheat beer in this, a thick red body with a huge pink foam . Perfect sweet and sour combo very fizzy and tingly to the palate. Overall the only downside was a tad to much sugar and CO2.

Bottle, at home. Deep red with a large pink head, mostly lasting, good lacings. Aroma moderate malty (raspberries with notes of cassis), light yeasty. Flavor moderate sweet and acidic. Light body, watery, soft carbonated. Very drinkable.

Nice redish pour with a blast of rasberries and prunes in the aroma. The flavor was very clean and strong with rasberries that seemed very real and not fake or processed. It sat very well on the mouth and had a slight tartness to it. It had a sparkling wine feel to it but still seemed like beer. Overall very good and really represented the fruit beer label well.

UPDATED: MAR 11, 2007 A raspberry soda-pop with slight hints of sourness in the background. A lambic with training wheels, this is the appropriate beverage to serve at Mormon Relief Society events to force-introduce people to the beauties of beer without frightening them. Really, this is very tasty. Thoroughly drinkable. Acidic and big raspberry notes on the aroma and in the taste. Ruby red, mostly clear. Very big raspberry flavor with pleasant tartness. Medium-thin bodied and very spritzy. Tasty, indeed.

Tap at Yogis in Bloomington, IN. Deep red with prune highlights. Served with no head. Fine carbonation. Aroma was incredible. Lively rasberry up front with a bit of sweet cherry underneath. Presentation/aroma was so good, it was the first beer my wife has tried in 10 years. Actually liked it. Maybe this is the beginning of her conversion? Taste is like rasberry champagne. Lovely. Well balanced sweet fruit with a hint of grape skin bite. Let me say this is the first fruit beer I have had that hasnt tasted like watery fruit juice. I imagine would be great for a celebration. Maybe next New Years Ill have a bottle on ice. Very good.
