(12.31.05) On tap at Firkins. Hazy deep red having a large white head with good lacing. Good carbonation. Strong raspberry fruit aroma. Sweet tangy raspberry flavor. Tastes like a sweet raspberry pop and a stretch to believe that this is really a beer. Poured reminder into my glass of Champagne which vastly improved its flavor (the Champagnes!). Good dessert beer. Sampled at a special New Years Eve dinner with visiting family members at Firkins.

UPDATED: JAN 14, 2006 Tasted like punch. Deep red color, pink frothy head. The fruit taste is a little overwhelming at times. It comes across a little tart. Have a date? She doesnt like beer you say? Order this. Big hit at parties. Again, its super fruity.

UPDATED: MAY 28, 2007 Bottle..probably a few years old. Pours red and slighty syrupy. Champagne like carbonation with small head. Aroma is malty and very strong notes of raspberry (of course). Flavor is sweet, malty and full of raspberry flavor. Mildy sticky and syrupy in the mouth. Finish is slightly tart. Very remeniscent of a jolly Roger hard candy. Not bad, but there are better examples out there. A decent dessert beer. Also good beer to use when trying to expand a BMC drinkers beer horizons, as its easy to find.

Pours a sticky, bright red color. Tastes and smells super sweet. Wheres the alcohol? This is kind of like drinking rapsberry-juice concentrate. I had higher expectations for this one...maybe its better if you mix it with something?

Lambic with enticing color followed by sweet fruity taste. You would almost think youre drinking a carbonated wine until the great finish. A bit pricey - I would drink more but, I have to send two kids to college one day.

UPDATED: FEB 21, 2006 Pours dark ruby with a thick, pink head, lasting, nice lacing. The aroma is of a pint of fresh picked raspberries. The flavor is initially sweet raspberries with a big tart finish. Champagne mouthfeel. I really enjoyed drinking this, but it is not a Lambic.

Burgundy red lambic with a thin purplish head. Homemade raspberry jelly aroma, nice and fragrant. Very sweet raspberry juice with nice lactic acid points, comming through nicely. Good carbonation. I like this one. May 2005, thanks Capflu.

UPDATED: NOV 18, 2006 tastes like very fresh and very pulpy (dont know if that word can be used here) raspberry juice with a little alkihol added in. yummy for desert but not the best lambic beer youll have

Nice creamy head poured out, very small head, doesnt retain too long. Great raspberry aroma, and a great tart, fruity taste with a nice sour finish. Great lambic.

Bottle poured a hazy ruby with a long lasting creamy pink head. Aromas of Raspberry! Palate was light bodied and tart. Flavors of raspberries with a sweet but tart lingering finish.
