Wittales' rating

Wittales (762) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - NOV 18, 2012
Appearance was clear deep reddish with no head, no lacing. Aromas simple tart berries, jelly/ jam nose, nothing else. Taste are tart jelly-like rassberries,, apple and rose wine, clean yeasts. Palate was light flat CO2 with delicate light body, lasting tart fruity finish. A good dessert brew...

A very special lambic. The raspberry is very dominant. It is so fresh. I will buy it again.

Bottle. Pours ruby dark with thick reddish head. Aroma of funk, barnyard, wet leaves, sirupy, raspberries, Taste is light to moderate sweet with light acidic/ sour notes and raspberry mouthfeel. Medium body, soft to oily carbonation, lively texture, sweet and light abrupt finish.

Bardzo ładne, kolor ciemno różowy z dużą pianą w podobnym kolorze. Aromat owocowy, nie zbyt jednak malinowy, dość podobny do krieka z lindemans. W smaku też przyjemnie, ale nic specjalnego. Kwaśne, owocowe, swieze I lekkie. Przyjemnie wypić, ale szału nie ma.

FYI, you know you’re really into gaining points for variety of beers rated when you decide to have your school order lambic for the grad student party so you can rate it but not actually have to drink an entire bottle. Framboise, or raspberry, is obviously nice, but this is basically like drinking a fruity soda or bubbly juice. It tastes like the raspberry version of sparkling apple cider, which is only something for children or pregnant women, or other such people that by preference or design cannot drink alcohol. However, it is very pink and expensive, and it was very popular with young women who don’t want double IPAs everyday. Good for gaining illusory ratebeer points, defrauding your school of funds (jk jk don’t sue me), and being adorable.

250ml. Red color, smal head. Aromat fruit, rasbery. Taste fruit, sugar. Biternes low. Medium carbonation

It’s like every raspberry in the world came to ferment and then settle in your glass. Which is not that good as raspberry’s tend to be overrated as fruits go. However Lindemans framboise is concentrated and fruity. Sour as you’d expect. Hard to drink being so fruity and thick yet goes well as a session break due to low abv. A worthwhile drink despite the high price tag.

You almost can't tell that it's beer, raspberry is a bit overwhelming. Better than average, I like it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aspecto: ligeramente turbio, rojo, pequeño, rojizo, cabeza cremosa. Sabor: medio dulce. Boca: los dulces continúan, frambuesas masivas, un poco secas y amargas. En general: muy agradable Lambic. Fresca y refrescante.

Bottle at backyard fire, ruby red beer, pink foam dissapeared. Aroma is raspberry, red currant. Taste is raspberry, lemon, currant, rhubarb. Palate is light, carbonation moderate. This is pretty sweet. Best for desert I think.
