Bottle at home, labeled "foudroyante" with Lindemans listed as the brewer and bottler. Pours a clear dark amber with plenty of fizz, reminiscent of champagne. Slight bite of sourness on the nose, but quite thin on the mouth. Savory tastes of yeast and slight funk, but not strong by any means. Decent entry-level gueuze, Id say.

Clear golden appearance with thin head. Aroma and flavour have some initial tartness, cork and dryness. Strangely sweet end with some fructose.

Pours orange amber with a white head. Aroma of ripe apples, slight oak, pale malt, earthyness and citrus. Taste has citrus, slight funk, ripe apples, weak oak, a sweet sugary note and some grains.

backlog rating, poured a clear orange colour with a soft white head. smell is nothing compared to a geuze, sweet sugary notes, almost as sweet as a faro. yeast notes, not much carbonation, sweet aftertaste, and just a light tartness.

Bottle. Nose is farmyard, hint of leather, touch of lemon, dusty cupboard, very sweet candy sugar edge. Taste massive candy sugar, leading to a little lemon, apples, more candy sugar, hint of funk, pear drops, faintest touch of leather, rhubarb and custard sweets, a. Mouthfeel is slick, and slightly cloying (I assume because its basically sugar syrup). The nose is not bad, but the beer itself is awful. This is a faro not a geuze, and its so sweet as to be undrinkable. A gueuze for alcopop drinkers seems a paradox, so I assume it is a gueuze for those without palates?

UPDATED: OCT 7, 2016 Pours clear amber with a small white head and no lacing. Weak but nice funky, fruity, floral aroma. Sweeter than expected. Id prefer a drier palate, still a great beer.

25 cl bottle, served in flute glass. Poured clear amber with a one finger off white head that dissipated quickly. Aroma: apples, cider, sugar candy, funk. Taste: sugar candy, apple juice, cider, peach, citrus, green grapes, tart. Very sweet. Light to medium body with a sweet, dry and light tart finish. A commercial geuze, also recognizable by the small capped 25 cl bottle.

Bottle from Vinum Tbingen. Pours clear golden with almost no head. Smell is apple, a bit acidic and citrus. Taste is not as sour as I anticipated. Clear notes of citrus, grapes, almost like white wine. This is actually quite nice in small quantities. Still a bit too sour for my taste.
