Bottle. First lambic/geuze ever. Bottle states 5% alcohol instead of the four percent mentioned here. Pours hazy dark golden, bronze even. Little yeast residue. Tiny head that disappears in seconds. Aroma of champagne, unripe red fruits and sour. Taste caught me off guard, but within a minute I got accustomed to the taste and boy it’s good. Hits the palate exactly like champagne. Then, unripe fruits, sourness, dryness and some sweetness comes in. Plenty of carbonation and oily. Very refreshing. Aftertaste is long. Dry and sour. Some sweet and sour remain for a long time and induces excessive saliva build-up. This is a style I’d like to explore.
While the gueuzes at the A+ level seem to peak in quality for my simple tastes, there’s certainly a distinction between yer Cantillons and something like this. Really sugary for a lambic. lupuLust (265) - Franke(n) im Breisgau, GERMANY - JUN 21, 2017
Sadly a disapointment from Lindemans. Overwhelming sweetness. Unbalanced by minimal sourness. Is that the result of a pasteurised Gueuze? Artificial aromas of green lactic apples. Scrumpy369 (782) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUN 18, 2017
Bottle at antwerpen. Clear deep yellow colour good white head. Nose is green apples. Taste is low sweetness, faint sourness. Feels like a cider. Ehh. DavyK (132) - East Kilbride, SCOTLAND - JUN 17, 2017
Bottle from Maxwell’s. Big carbonation, smell has a requisite dunt of vinegar and funk.Bubbles, fruit and sourness have a nice interplay...gets easier with every mouthful and by the end I found it thoroughly refreshing. A real grower. Cooked apple and balsamic vinegar too. zboj (216) - POLAND - JUN 13, 2017
Warka z datą przydatności na butelce 01.06.2018. Piwo w barwie jasnobursztynowe, wysycenie spore, ale piana buduje się nieduża i szybko redukuje się do zera, nie zostawiając koronki. W aromacie i smaku kwaśne jabłka, trochę winogron. Profil przypominający szampana. W posmaku piwo kwaskowate i cierpkie. Na ciepłe dni jest w stanie orzeźwić, ale generalnie raczej propozycja dla fanów piw kwaśnych.

Bottle at Golden Beer expo. hazy gold. Mild acidic aroma, apple, a little barfy. Tastes sour, fruity and acidic followed by sugary sweetness. light body, light carbonation, long apple finish. DavidWoodruff (601) - Windsor, California, USA - JUN 13, 2017
Amber with a white head. Fruity aroma with a hint of vinegar. Sweet fresh fruit flavors with a pleasant balsamic note. Medium bodied. Nice, but a bit like a beer-cooler. mieszal92 (232) - Gliwice, POLAND - JUN 10, 2017
250ml bottle thx to kindness of @carmen24, Gliwice.
Crystal clear lager-like color. Subtly funky, sweet, extra-refreshing. Apricots, champaign. Astringent. Great substitute of lemonades, undemanding, unchallenging, very easy and soft. Second best Gueuze, good introduction for sensitive beginners:) KraftowyJakup (294) - POLAND - MAY 29, 2017
W zapachu winogrona i jabłko, mało tych brettów. W smaku dochodzi lekki ocet, jest sporo słodyczy, średniawka. Idiosynkrasie (7423) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - MAY 25, 2017
375ml bottle. Clear, copper-ish, amber colour with small to average, thick, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Malty, fruity, minimally sugary aroma, notes of blue grapes, sherry, sherry vinegar, green apple parings, moss. Taste is tart and sugary sweet, notes of rock sugar, sherry, blue grapes, citric acid, fruit acid, dry overtones of green apple parings; soft, minimally sticky palate, gentle carbonation. Rather flattering due to its sugary sweetness.
