ComradeK's rating

   AROMA 7/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 7/10   PALATE 4/5   OVERALL 15/20

head, which lasts fairly well, and leaves reasonable lacing. Funky sourness in the aroma is offset by sweeter, fruity raspberry notes. Lemon sourness up front gives way to a sweeter raspberry flavour. Grainy malt and a more reserved sour flavour come into the mid-palate, with leather and a woody sour flavour in the finish. This is not the most complex gueuze around, but it does have a decent balance between sour and sweet flavours, and is both easy to drink and quite enjoyable.

UPDATED: JAN 9, 2018 Bouteille 33cl superU.

March 15th, 2015 - The regular fruity Lindeman's are unbridled, undisciplined and shamefully sweet. But the family name shouldn't spoil the personality, so I wanted to give the Lindeman's Cuvee Rene a chance to be something better than the fizzy fruity fracases one normally finds on liquor store shelves. Hazy but almost a foxy brown, the head barely supports itself before toppling into the glass of sweet and sour smelling brew. With a slight vinegar twang and a sharp acidity, it has a high note like apple cider vinegar. The floaty, fluffy carbonation is around for when I take my sip, softening the sourness. Notably, the sweetness has been checked, apparently restraining Lindeman's bad habits from other beers and letting a more traditional lambic geuze note come through.

Aromat całkiem poprawny, choć dość jednowymiarowy - mocno zdominowany przez stajenne nuty. W smaku też raczej nudne, zdecydowanie zbyt słodkie. Takie sobie

UPDATED: DEC 24, 2017 Piwo o bursztynowej barwie, z delikatną piana. W aromacie nuty winne, w smaku kwaskowe winne.

shuvar (251) - Poznań, POLAND - DEC 14, 2017
Butelka 0,375l.

Wysycenie średnie do wysokiego.

Pours clear amber with low white head. Aroma of apples, light almond icing and baking soda, mild grass and cracked garden branches. Taste is initial light tart but is followed by a sticky apple sweet finish. Like someone poured apple juice into a perfectly fine gueuze... Light and crisp body with soft carbonation.

Cristobal37 (1287) - Budapest, HUNGARY - NOV 18, 2017
Bronze, little head. Mild funky gueuze aroma. Apple cider, woody, sticky. Totally decent, cant see why it's rated so low. It is more mild than the best, but really not bad.
